I’ve stayed at many places in Oaxaca, and this boutique hotel truly stands out. The design is stunning—elegant, calming, and beautifully curated. The service was genuinely five-star, with warm, attentive staff who made me feel right at home. It was one of the most relaxing stays I’ve had—an absolute gem I can’t recommend enough.

It has a central location and is nicely appointed with some nice art in the room. The room and bathroom were a good size. But, it’s on a main room so the room is noisy and you cannot open the window to let in light because of the noise and the traffic pollution. This will never change and the suggestion for ear plugs from the hotel doesn’t address the issue! Noise is also heard in the courtyard. Limited response to staff if queries were raised: staff did not seem to be very pro active. No real service in terms of drinks outside of breakfast time. Full breakfast service only available at 8am so if you have tours booked you get a limited offer from 7.30. They also need to make explicit that 1 dish only from the menu can be ordered (either a savoury or a sweet but not both!) rather than say ingredients aren’t available.
