카사 호텔 카르멘 오악사카 레포르마(Casa Carmen Reforma)

This is an amazing hotel, and we can't wait to come back to Oaxaca and stay here again. We got a suite with an outdoor tub and really enjoyed breakfast out there every morning. The rooms are beautiful, comfy and very clean with every amenity you could need. Location is perfect for walking around town. Staff are fabulous and helpful. Truly one of my favorite hotels ever.

A beautiful, centrally located space for exploring Oaxaca. Owned and designed by artist Amador Montes, there are many wonderful details and art throughout. We stayed at the Reforma location, and yes it was noisy, but that was just part of being immersed in Oaxaca city! The included breakfast was delicious and varied. Miriam and the morning staff also surprised my husband with birthday pancakes and singing when they found out about his birthday.

The property and the people that manage this property were amazing. It's in a quiet section of the city. The breakfast was fresh and well prepared. Since the moment we arrived, we were treated like long lost family. We stayed in the Carmen room which had Plenty of room. The property is very secure. You have to knock on the front door to be let in. Center city is a short walk, and everything is close by. If you need to go further, then walking then ask them to get a driver. The people they use are knowledgeable and professional. Will stay again when we return.

My husband and I just returned from a six night stayed in Casa Carmen Morelos. This place is beyond perfect. The entire team: Alejandro, Nelly, Carlos, Cecilia and the chef (forgot her name) were so nice, respectful, professional, friendly. Everything you can ever ask for. This is not a hotel, I'd say it is a luxurious B&B. I felt like we were at someone's house, very intimate and warm feeling. About the property: literally a work of art. The owner, Amador Montes is a famous and successful Oaxacan artist (painter and sculptor). The house is like a mini art gallery, his work serves as the decor. It is a truly special place. We had the opportunity to visit his actual gallery on Reforma Street, and wow, very impressive. We were honored to have been able to see more of his work. About the room: we stayed in the room titled Sin Ti Nunca (the name of the rooms are very clear and some even sexy). It is very large, bed very comfortable, an incredible bathroom with a skylight, loved all the natural light. A rainforest shower, very nice toiletries and a super cozy bath rope. The room faces the street but we didn't have any issues with noise. Occasionally at night we heard cars going by but never kept us awake. Breakfast is included and it was so delicious. Fresh and just cooked to perfection. It is a la carte and you even have a menu to choose from. It caters to healthy eaters but also the dishes are local food which it was always my choice. They have an unfinished/unfurnished terrace but I hope next time we visit Oaxaca, it will be finished so that we can relax and have drinks after a long day of sightseeing. Nelly made us some delicious Mexcalini, I wish we had them everyday. I cannot wait to return. I will most definitely recommend this place for my friends and family visiting Oaxaca. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You will love it!

We loved our stay here! First, the staff was incredibly attentive and kind. The breakfast included with our stay was delicious (and healthy)! The hotel’s architecture is so unique - it’s really stunning in how it weaves indoor and outdoor spaces together seamlessly. Our room was very nice. Good location in walking distance to many restaurants and other attractions too.

Excelente ubicación 5-10 minutos caminando al centro. El staff muy amable y servicio impecable. Es una propiedad boutique excelente para parejas, recomiendo ampliamente y seguro volveremos.
