We recently booked a family room for a stay with friends, and overall, the experience was mixed. The garden was truly exceptional, with beautiful flowers and well-thought-out arrangements that created a lovely atmosphere. The caretakers were welcoming and incredibly helpful, attending promptly to our needs and requests. The family room, which is partially underground, was spacious and well-furnished. It featured nice sofas and TV, providing a comfortable area to relax. Additionally, there was a pantry area, which was convenient for preparing quick meals and snacks. However, there was a significant drawback. Throughout our stay, there was a persistent bad smell, may be some drainage issues. Despite our complaints, the issue was not resolved satisfactorily. The staff responded by providing an air freshener, but its effect lasted less than two hours. Eventually, we had to ask them to leave the air freshener with us for continual use. Another point to note is that there is only one washroom for the family room, which can be inconvenient for larger groups. And locks of the bathroom doors did not work.
