Bar manager and maitre at Restaurant with no English .Poor service at Bar and terrible cocktail.Food its ok.Amazing terrace But never again.

The hotel is very tired, the dinner service is stuck in the 1970s. The reception staff were very helpful as we cancelled 2/3 nights. This is partly because of the poor facilities but mainly because ********* says it us near the beach, when in fact it is 3km up a mountain!

Perfect for a weekend getaway. Awesome views around the area and nice hiking tracks.

The location inspired me even when I looked to the woody hill above the protected part of one of the most beautifull parts of the Adritic. When I arrived after a short steep ride, I loved the former monastery grounds at once! The church and part of old gates with the wall wellcomed me around inner court. The hotel itself is full of nostalgia too - with furniture and decoration of the past. The personnel was very attentive and informative, so I had enough options for some walks. Unfortunately it was a bit too cold to try the inviting swimming pool. The place is very quet, at least during the week days. So I had a good sleep in comfortable bed. I liked a kind of nostalgical design of the room, but the most impressive was the view of the coast from a handy balcony. The same stuning views are offered from the restaurant and nearby terrace. There were lots off options at the breakfast for all tastes. The neasures against COVID were taken seriously so I felt safe in that way as well. There is a free private parking for hotel guests.

Lovely location almost on top of the hill, Superb view of the landscape and the coast. The hotel has an ancient church inside its area. The hotel is member of the chain Charme and Relax Hotels. Silence and relax are a plus. There's also a swimming pool. Nearby the hotel there's a pub that sometimes can be disturbing because of the music, but in generalit stops around midnight. As for the food, nothing exceptional: the kitchen offers several dishes that are repeated during the week; maybe a little change could be appreciated. The place is not pointed towards young people (no pizza, no music), but some young people may appreciate it. If you want it you can go down to Sirolo village. For those that love trekking there are several paths nearby, you could reach the sea on foot.

The long drive up the hill from Sirolo suggests there is something special waiting at the top and the setting and atmosphere of the Hotel Monteconero does not disappoint. The courtyard and its church, not to mention the view down to the Adriatic 500 metres below, are unique features in a very striking location. The hotel itself only partially reflects this glamorous promise, however, living a little on past glories : the restaurant somewhat sterile, the breakfast buffet very standard fare, the bedroom spacious and clean but uninspired, the bathroom maintaining the old Italian tradition of an occasional unwelcome lingering smell. But then you look again from your balcony over the blue Adriatic and the coastline and Marche countryside below and these minor irritations are forgotten. There’s a good pool and well-maintained hiking trails from the door, and it’s only a five-minute drive back down the hill to the delightful town of Sirolo with its multitude of restaurants. Then the retreat back up the hill is all the more appreciated.

Bellissima posizione sul Monte Conero ma per il resto l’hotel e’ da rinnovare completamente. Arredamento vecchissimo , coperte ormai usurate e piene di polvere. Bagno piccolissimo. Poca pressione dell’acqua calda. Colazione scadente con prodotti da discount. Prezzo esorbitante per il tipo di sistemazione e offerta.

Hotel fatto a scale, con un solo ascensore che non raggiunge le camere del piano più alto. Posto panoramico, ma isolato: bisogna muoversi sempre con la propria auto. Stanze abbastanza grandi, ma bagni piccoli, tv piccoli con canali mancanti e finestre che all'alba fanno passare luce. Colazione modesta, ristorante discreto. Buona la pulizia, ma gli asciugamani vengono cambiati solo su richiesta. Buona l'accoglienza e cortese il personale che però fuma, nei momenti di pausa, in sala ristorante. Cani ammessi, in camera e a colazione, pranzo e cena.
