Beautiful lodge, short walk from Yu Road moving walkway that takes you to the Hikage gondola. Room is So cosy - we had the double room which is only small but has everything you need. Our friends had the loft twin which was also great with a bit more space. The lodge have a beautiful private bath as well which is amazing for soaking tired muscles after a day on the mountain. Breakfast is optional at 2200 JPY per day with western and Japanese option. We had the Japanese option and it was delicious! Great start to the day. The staff are all lovely, great service! Short walk into the main village area with restaurants, bars, convenience store, cafes etc. Highly recommend!

Truly one of the enjoyable hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious. Beds and bedding very warm and comfortable. I had a good view of the town from the room. The shared facilities were surprisingly luxurious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Japanese breakfast deserves a special mention. It was copious and magnificent. There is no menu choice but so many dishes of beautifully presented fresh food each morning was a great start to each day. The individual dishes change each day. I chose the hotel for its location close to the walkway to the ski fields. This plan worked well. There was easy access to skiing. There are also many restaurants and bars within a 10min walk. On the way back between the walkway and the hotel you can stop and have some onsen cooked food. A great after skiing treat. Talking of onsens there is a small public onsen about 200m from the hotel. Would love to return one day.
