We loved our stay. We are a family of 5 and had 3 rooms - the Etna, Syracusa and the Caltagirone rooms for 4 days. Italo gave us a tour of the beautiful grounds, pool and the incredible spa. After travelling from Ortigia, we decided it would be nice to have a home cooked meal by the pool overlooking the lovely country side. Well it happened to be one of the best meals we had in Sicily. Italo is not only a wonderful and gracious host but also an amazing cook! We had tuna tartare, pasta alla norma, sea bream with the best caponata we have ever had. It was a gorgeous evening!! Thank you Italo and staff for an unforgettable and wonderful stay.

This place is like no other, with very personalized attention to details. The host prepared the best meal we had in Europe, and the service was second to none. We would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Olive Alive is a wonderful place to stay! It was everything we hoped for and we highly recommend it as a relaxing retreat. The staff is very kind and Italo clearly has a lot of pride in the area and hotel. Very quiet, calm and relaxing in a perfectly maintained place. We loved the attention to detail. There is a spectacular clear view to the town and ocean from many places on the property.The pool is clean and refreshing and we went daily. We enjoyed a steam room which we had Italo prepare for us. Their 2 dogs and cats were cute as well and very sweet. The breakfast is farm fresh and includes many things from on the property like fresh grape juice and olive oil. Perhaps the best marmalades I’ve ever tasted (try them all). We also had a 5 course dinner on site that was an extra cost and we loved it! Italo bought food fresh from the market and shared his process as they served the dishes. It was very charming and a private dining experience by the pool. It’s also not far from trips to wineries, the town, and nearby beaches. We mostly drove 13-30 minutes to things and once arranged a town car to drive to a nearby wine tasting for 50 euros each way.

We visited for 4 nights with our two kids (10 & 8). It was an incredible stay and one that we will all remember for years to come. It was the perfect way to start our trip to Italy. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage which was perfect for our family. The 2nd bedroom is a loft area which the kids loved. The cottage is authentic and charming but has good air conditioning, a washing machine, and a well-stocked kitchen. We ate on the patio often and enjoyed the views of Noto and the ocean in the distance. In addition to the many olive trees, there are citrus trees all around. Our kids got lemons from the trees and made lemonade one day. Italo is a great host. He is easy to communicate with and provides great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The first night, we ate by pool at the hotel. Italo and his assistant Amanda cooked an awesome Sicilian meal for us which we all enjoyed. We also really enjoyed the happy hours around the pool each afternoon. Amanda took excellent care of us and our children and brought out many great snacks. She was very kind and provided excellent service. There is also a nice daily breakfast service outside of the main building by the fountains. We really enjoyed that each day. The olive oil that they manufacture is incredible. We used our stay as a base for day trips to various spots in Sicily. We went to Noto, Siricusa/Ortigya, Modica, and a day at a local beach club. Each afternoon we came back to enjoy the resort and relax. If you want a beautiful, authentic, well-located, and low-key way to experience this part of Sicily, this is where you will want to stay. Highly recommend.

Fantastic and wonderful place to stay. You are on a paradise created by Italo, an Italian man with a big heart and fine taste. The domain is like in a dream. Each second you relax and enjoy. Perfect distance of to the Baroque city Noto, Syracuse, Modica, Catania and many more

This small hotel is perfect in every way: - gorgeous, rural setting - refreshing pool with a view of Noto - warm host/owner. Italo made us feel as comfortable as family - well located for exploring the area. - great recommendations for restaurants and activities. - delicious breakfast with homemade jams and treats. To top it off, our host, Italo cooked us a very special dinner for my birthday, navigating dietary requests with ease. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer. We already want to go back.

We stayed for 5 nights with our family of 4 in the cottage above the main building. We have two young children who were welcomed and treated very warmly. The space was really nice for us, as it had 2 rooms and also a small kitchen and laundry. The property is so beautiful and relaxing while still being close to Noto and surrounding cities. It served as an ideal starting point to enjoy the area. Italo, the owner, went out of his way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay, and really helped us when we had to find a doctor because of my children was ill. It felt like we had a local host to help us navigate in another country, which can be challenging. You can tell the care that he and his wife put into the property and hotel. Highly recommend and I would love to return!

This a great spot . Stunning views of noto & surrounding hills . A 5 min ( slightly hair raising ) drive to Noto with its beautiful architecture &great restaurants . We stayed in the Bella vista cottage and cornucopia / cottage had one main double bedroom downstairs and then a cute bedroom in the eaves upstairs ( 2 singles ). Both with good aircon. Kitchen was well equipped ( no oven , but not needed ), with extra fridge freezer as well . Washing machine also there . Pool was wonderful ( all one depth / not v deep ). Super relaxing stay . We visited Tenuta Olive Alive last October. We were lucky to be the only guests at the property at the time. Italo was a fantastic host and an excellent cook. Breakfasts were great and he also cooked us a really delicious meal one evening. The property is worth the drive and is very peaceful and relaxing once you’re there. We loved spending time with the dogs Cleo and Neve and Italo gave us some great recommendations to explore the area. Would not hesitate to come again and hope all is going well! Karuna and Huma
