Now let's be clear, this is a budget hotel. Some of the reviews are bizarre. Be clear, most budget hotels now have families living there. It smelt of curry? Do what I do, be friendly to people then get invited to share the curry - delicious! This is a great little hotel and the staff and owner go out of their way to help. Bilal, George & all the cleaners are lovely people - nothing is too much trouble Obliviously I haven't stayed in every room but the ones I have are spacious, modern and very clean. Nice garden and balcony too Just to clarify though, they no longer do breakfast, and parking isn't great (but park outside, unload then park 5 minutes away) I would highly recommend. Perfect for visits to the cricket ground (5 minute walk) and a ten minute walk from town. Lots of pubs, restaurants, shops and takeaways very close too

We have just stayed at your B&B this weekend checked in on the 5th, checked out today the 7th January. Before booking I looked at pictures of the property and rooms, they looked nice, this is the reason why I picked it, but to my surprise the pictures online did not look like the room we had??? The blinds were falling apart, there was a mountain of cigarette butt's outside the window, the window locks were not attached so you could open them as wide as you wanted H&S issue. The lights in the main room only one worked with no shade and the other had stains all over the shade? We only had 2 towels for 3 people and when I asked for another I was given a stained one. Half a toilet roll. No hanging space. The shower was cold even if fully turned to the hot setting. Under the sink all the electrics were showing for heat pump for the hot water H&S issue. No fire information anywhere in the room or hallway (incase of fire). Did not know where the fire assembly point was?? Blood in the shower room. I did speak to the young lad on receipt on arrival about parking and all questions I ask he just said "I don't know" . So with regards to talking to him about the room in my opinion was a pointless exercise. I did ask who was the owner or if he had a contact email or number, he told me he had no cards and there were numbers on the door. Very poor general decoration all round. Think someone needs to do a risk assessment?

Not recommend this place to anyone. Smell in the room as someone was cooking curry or something similar, spider nets on lamp shades, and above curtains, shower is horrible you can burn your self or get freezing cold, it's only two options, and the last is mattress, it's horrible. It's old smelly and you can feel all the sprungs in your body. Had booking for 2 nights, but stay just one as after the first one wake up as with broken bones..

The linen seems clean but cobwebs all over the ceiling and kick boards disgusting. Sink and shower pretty dirty. Can only get limited hot water early in Morning freezing in the evening. It was a convenient location so took a chance but won’t be back.

Booked this for my son and daughter in law for 2nd July one night as they were going to Silverstone. Price was hiked to £350 per night . Very much over rated. Reception not manned all the time, having a shower was impossible as only half a dozen nozzles were working on shower head. At the inflated price this was unacceptable. Spoke to *********** but no help or refund offered. Would not recommend.
