We had such a great time at this b&b! The food was amazing and Sandy & Doug were such nice hosts! The pastries were to die for! They also greeted us with an amazing charcuterie board when we arrived. There were so many options to order for breakfast and they were just amazing! They always made sure that we had everything that we needed from extra towels to sparkling non-alcoholic wine in the hot tub. We will definitely be coming back!

Who would have guessed we'd be so thrilled to have stayed at this incredible bed and breakfast far off the beaten track! Enduring Heart Bed and Breakfast compares well with the best B&Bs of Europe. From the moment we arrived Doug and Sandy were the most gracious hosts imaginable. They have three beautiful fully modern rooms with ensuites in a centuries home that has been lovingly restored with great taste all the while preserving much of its original character. Breakfast with sweet and savory choices rivals that of the absolute best; fresh fruit picked from their yard, homemade jams, sweet buns to delight. In the afternoon, we were offered a charcuterie board and lemonade to enjoy in their gazebo not far from the pool and hot tub. We loved the experience so much we bought gift card stays for friends and family. A hidden gem well worth seeking out!

This is a gem… from the moment we arrived, Doug and Sandy were so welcoming, they made us feel at home and welcomed by loving upon us with Sandy‘s outstanding food and great conversations, the accommodations were above five star, we highly recommend this wonderful B&B. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay so much, we went back a couple of months later to celebrate a milestone birthday. We have not gone to a Bed and Breakfast for many years and decided to go away for a short getaway. Sandy and Doug were so welcoming, our room was absolutely beautiful with an amazing ensuite, the breakfast selection and treats were so delicious, the hot tub was relaxing and ending the day by the fire pit was the best. They also provided great recommendations to local businesses making our visit so very enjoyable and relaxing. We have recommended Enduring Heart to everybody and truly look forward to our next visit. Sandy and Doug were fantastic and gracious hosts. It was a beautiful clean room, with a fantastic breakfast and amazing service. They know how to go above and beyond to make you feel special. For a quick getaway from Ottawa, this is a perfect spot.

The best of the best of the best!! Wow. Everything was perfect from the hospitality, to the room, to the small gifts, and to the incredibly abundant food. Sandy went out of her way, literally, to provide us with beautiful, delicious vegan food (and much more). I could go on and on, but simply try this place yourself!

Sandy and Doug spoiled us during our entire stay. The food, breakfast and afternoon snack, was excellent. All ingredients are locally sourced and Sandy is an amazing cook. The Limerick room was very comfortable, the house has a lot of history and it has been beautifully renovated. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend this B&B gem.

If you appreciate Bed and Breakfasts Enduring Heart is the place for you. We stayed at Enduring Heart for our anniversary weekend and let me tell you that Doug and Sandy’s BnB is way above 5 stars! They are formidable hosts! We felt very welcome and at home in this beautiful and very clean mid 1800’s home. We enjoyed every minute spent there. We were met at the door, a charcuterie board was waiting for us, Sandy gave us a nice tour of the house, the complementary items, the THOUGHTFULNESS of the hosts, the comfy room and bed we slept in, relaxing in the hot tub after a day of walking and shopping; every thing was perfect. We were served savoury and delicious breakfasts prepared by Sandy (DO NOT skip pâtissière Sandy’s homemade pastries from the buffet!!). We loved that many of the products they serve are local. We learned about Haskap berries and went home with a few good gardening tips. Thank you Doug and Sandy for our incredible stay! We hope to be back soon.
