Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service and accommodation. Late check ins. Stayed in 3 bedrooms, spiders in each room, which kept returning, broken wardrobe, Leaking ceiling and dampness. The location and access to our Lodge was inaccessible due to 2 steep flights of stairs, no disability access. We needed disabled access room, but nothing was given. Receptionist shrug her shoulders and didn't know how to solve our issues. Very unpleasant stay. BE WARNED.

My partner stayed here for 2 nights & was so disappointed,as we hadn’t been away for a few years due to my partners ill health. The room didn’t feel clean,the shower had mould in it,the sink had a big crack in it,the water was Luke warm when showing,the food menu was very limited.I wouldn’t go there again.So disappointing

We stayed in a 2 dedroom standard apartment (22G) which was spacious, however dirty with stains all up the walls, sofas and a huge one on the carpet. Very disappointed with the cleanliness and stained furnishings. We always stay in budget accomodation, however we have never experienced such a run down apartment. I spent 30 minutes cleaning the apartment and put towels over the dirty sofas to make it more comfortable. The pool, bar and restaurant were excellent and the staff were lovely.

The customer service was lovely. The area outside the accommodation old and tired rotten decking boards at the top of the steps leading into the accommodation. The accommodation even though we appreciate it is end of season very tired and needs attention. We paid for a sea view but the windows and frames was very dirty , hard to open and shut also one was cracked. Trip hazard as broken threshold into the bathroom. Two single beds put together as a double, different heights so we kept falling into the middle of the bed (poor sleep) fan to the bathroom on all night as didn't have an option to turn if off without loosing the lights. Fridge was also noisy so again ( poor sleep ) left a list with reception. As we was only there for two nights and was out most of the time we didn't ask to be moved but if it was a longer stay we would of asked to be moved or asked for a refund and either tried somewhere else or gone home.

A good stay at North Devon Resort. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our accommodation a 2 bedroom superior apartment was of a good standard but too near the event hall where music at night disturbed our sleep. Unfortunately our daughters 3 bedroom superior apartment was in need of a refurbishment. Although it was clean it needed decorating. The whole site could do with a paint on the outside and communal toilets in event hall/restaurant and changing rooms for pool need an overhaul. The pool was clean and in good order and the food at the monkey puzzle restaurant was good.

The apartment was very well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. The staff are super friendly and when they say they are doggo friendly, they mean it! The food was AMAZING! Highly recommended! However, I left with a broken heart, they had run out of prawns so I wasn't able to have the jacket potato with king prawns one last time before leaving. Prices were very reasonable too! They have everything for the entire family! Game area, library, swimming pool, young children zone. Considering how many people go there, everything is in good condition. The area itself was calm, quiet and therefore, it was a relaxing getaway. Both adults and children (teenagers) are in agreement, we need to go back next year!
