바로우필드 호텔(Barrowfield Hotel)

Our room is not in the main building. We have to walk upstair to a first floor high extension building. My booking hasn't mentioned this. It just like a B&B room, but this is a 3 stars hotel. If I know before hand, I will not book this hotel.

Pleasantly surprised after hearing mixed reviews about this hotel we were not disappointed in what we experienced, admitted the food wasn’t 5star but we didn’t pay 5star prices so it was good value for money.the staff were all helpful especially at reception they we’re always helpful , the bus stop outside the hotel was handy the hotel provided time tables for the busses , entertainment was good too we had a quiz nightly which was a bit of fun and a couple of games of bingo in between the entertainment bar staff friendly as were the waiting on staff in the dinning room it’s only a short walk into Newquay town which is lovely.I will definitely return ,give yourselves a pat on the back all of you at the Barrowfield hotel Newquay

It was Our very first trip to Barrowfield Hotel with Daishs coach company it was absolutely brilliant. Our room was very clean we found no fault with anything, the entertainment and meals in dining room was excellent all staff was outstanding. We would certainly return again and would tell our friends of our experience at this hotel especially the coach company Danish’s as it also has an indoor swimming pool. Kind regards Mr B Redmond

I cannot say enough about the positive experience I had during my 5 day stay at the Barrowfield. Hotel in April this year. The staff were great..helpful and accomodating, and worked like a real team. Everyone stepped up to get the job done, in service of the guests. I was very pleased and impressed with mesks and my room. The front desk and management were excelkdnt, doing whstever needed.. invluding rolling up their sleeves to help out one day when they were short a staff member or two. All in all very pleased and hope to return. Thank you.

We stayed at Newquay at Barrowfield our room was lovely and clean beds comfy but we had shower and thought it was not very warm but not particularly worried because we had been extremely warm on coach Saturday morning got up to have shower it was freezing cold reported it to be told boiler had gone of in the night in the evening after a lovely day we tried to have another shower again it didn't work again we reported it told tg e y couldn't do anything about it and we would just have t o manage with a wash the same thing happened Sunday we eventually got it fixed on Monday as we were lucky with the weather it was not exactly comfortable not to be able to have proper wash and every time I asked if we could just use a another room to have a shower was told there wasn't one available some of staff were really apologetic but I do feel t o leave a client three days without adequate washing facilities a bit much however I will point out when it was fixed it was lovely

Just got back from a weekend break at Daish's Barrowfield, a nice hotel disappointed they got rid of the snooker table. I was asked to move to rooms at 6:30, the room I was moved to the mattress was rock hard. Told Mel the general manager, and she told me I should have said something earlier lesson learnt on that one. The duty manager a man I can't remember his name, did apologise that's something. Becky, Crystal and Lucy are a credit to your company, Julie and Jack who were serving behind the bar are also a credit to your company. I will certainly be going there again, hope Daish's have taken this hotel off the market.

The Staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and nice to return too. Food was good. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location to walk along the coastal paths, and we had the added bonus of seeing HRH Prince of Wales on Fistral beach on the Thursday the 9th of May 2024.

A lovely short break, nice hotel, friendly staff throughout the hotel, friendly guests. Entertainment was good. Not far from the town and harbour, or short walk over the Green to the cliff top to look at the sea. Rooms bright and clean. Food, big improvement on meals from last year. Just wish weather was better!! Overall, enjoyed our stay. Thank you

I really enjoyed my time at the hotel, good food ,entertainment also went on coach trip to St Ives I found the staff excellent being friendly and very helpful it as handy bus stops across the road there is a time table in your bedroom I would definitely use again
