地點很好 市中心 去巴士站不遠 ，乾淨 ，寧靜 ，工作人員有善，沖涼水壓真的很細很慢，炎熱夏天去也不太熱 ，有風扇 也很舒服

Once again we loved our stay at Hewitts. Dean is extremely welcoming and very helpful. All of the rooms are immaculate and the breakfast cooked by Kate is always lovely. The location is perfect, very central. We will most definitely be back!

Really delighted with everything! Ideal location central Newport, with shops, bus station and cinema right on the doorstep! Dean, one of the owners, greeted us upon arrival. Him, and all his team were very friendly, Honey (?) our breakfast lady on the Saturday morning was so bubbly and chatty, was a delight! The room was spacious, bed huge and comfy, bathroom was fabulous too! Tv and two seater settee was a good touch too! Can’t praise the place and people enough!! Will definitely book again!

Excellent customer experience. The room was clean, spacious and more than adequate for me needs. The on-site restaurant is amazing and the food is the best I’ve had for a long while. They really go the extra mile to make sure you have a brilliant experience. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Dean welcomed us even though our reservation had been erroneously made for a different date on Booking. He upgraded us to a larger room. Room one is located on the street side and though voices could be heard from the sidewalk and dining room below it did not affect our sleep. Dean explained the carpark payment (pay for time extending past 6 p.m. and it will be free for the night until 8 a.m.). We did have reservations for dinner on the correct date and had a superb dinner here. The beef brisket was tender and tasty, the plate fish too. The wine was excellent as was the dessert. My husband said the only complaint he had was he had nothing to complain about! Breakfast was cheerfully served by Honey. Great start to the day. Definitely would come back to Hewitt's if we come back to the Isle of Wight.

A warm welcome on arrival from Dean. A large room with a superking size bed, gigantic ensuite, and features that remain in keeping with the history of the building made the stay comfortable & relaxing and wanting to know more about the history of the place. If you love bacon, you'll love the breakfast! If you don't, there's plenty of other scrumptious delights to choose from along with proper coffee too served in the more modern dining area. We've stayed in a lot of hotels on the island due to work, but Hewitt's will be our go-to for each island visit in future. What a fab place. Thanks for having us Dean (and the staff). Marvellous. Just marvellous!

Lovely huge room with nice decor (liked especially the dressing mirror). Great location quite close to the center. Very friendly service, they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Simple but tasty breakfast with eggs and toast made to order! For 84 pounds the room was a steal, even if it was a low season. If ever needing to come to Newport again, I'll book here!

Very nice stay, great value! Super friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable and huge bed, free wifi with no need to sign up anywhere, very tidy, comfy and big room. This is my new favourite Newport hotel by a wide margin!
