We had a lovely stay in the Keadeen . Lots of parking. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready until 4, which was understandable as there was a wedding on . We ordered cocktails at the bar but after 20 mins waiting we had to back and remind bar staff that they were ordered . However they were lovely. It was very busy in the lobby with the wedding and a rugby match on . When we went to the room and it was spacious and comfortable . It was also very clean . The bathroom was nice and the shower was powerful. We had a lovely dinner and lots to choose from for vegetarians and the staff were lovely . It was very reasonable too . We had a lovely sleep and didn’t hear a sound , even though there was a wedding . The breakfast was fantastic and lots to choose from . We had a lovely stay and would come back .

This was our first time at Keadeen Hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations. On arrival, we were informed we were in "The Suite," which was unexpected. We only stayed the one night as part of a round Ireland trip. The Suite was very large set of rooms; ensuite dressing room, lounge, dinning room, large bedroom with four poster bed and the largest bathroom I have seen in a hotel; double walk in shower, double sink and slipper bath. We didn't want to leave. The food in the restaurant was wholesome and reasonably priced. Breakfast was standard but efficient and friendly staff made it more. We will be back.

Stayed here on a wedding anniversary having been here for my wedding 40 years before. The greeting at reception was perfunctory and I was given my key and vague directions as to how to get to the room. No explanation of facilities or evn a query about my journey. The room was large and comfortable but the TV had about 4 channels that worked. Bathroom had all the usuals. We had booked dinner in the restaurant only to find that the menu was the same as the bar menu. The restaurant was really only an overflow for the bar. The menu was very disappointing. To be fair to the lady in charge she explained they were working on changing things in future and did comp us a couple of drinks which was nice. When I came to get the bill I wanted to add it to my room but couldn't as I had not registered my credit card. It never occurred to me at the time but this was the first time I was never asked for this when checking in. It also meant when I went to the bar I had to pay for drinks each time I oredred. Breakfast next morning was adequate though there seemed to be a shortage of staff as we were not asked for room number nor shown to a table, we just wandered in. On checking out it was again perfunctory and the receptionist didn't even ask how our stay was. Another first. I shall not return

I never actually got to go I tried to cancel due to a health issue with my friend . I have been before and it was grand . I have now tried to cancel for over two weeks and finally this morning achieved this. The attitude of the receptionist was beyond shocking when I tried to cancel a fortnight ago , I asked to speak to a duty manager and did. However the booking was never cancelled and I have received daily e mails telling how soon my visit was coming up. In the modern world of technology is there no joined up thinking here. My experience in trying to cancel for a legitimate reason is the exact reason I won’t ever be going back. Customer service at its worst .

Beautiful hotel in a good location, within an easy walk to Newbridge town centre and 10 minutes drive to Kildare Village. Staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful - especially Katherine Decky and Pauline, we couldn't have asked for better service. Dinner in the restaurant was top class. If you like to be spoiled this is the place for you. Social Dancing on Monday nights is an added bonus.

Spent the night in Keadeen Hotel for a family occasion. Not our first visit, we have been many times. Staff were excellent as always, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thank you all. The hotel has a lovely warm comfortable feel. We had a small private room for our family meal. Feedback from all dinner guests was very positive, food was enjoyable. Again, excellent staff they really make the experience. We stayed over night and breakfast was excellent. Very very good selection, nice setting in the Bayleaf restaurant. Hotel is extremely family friendly. I really wanted to rate the hotel as excellent however there was a small let down. The hotel has recently been bought by new owners, and I believe they are updating bedrooms, however our bedroom overall felt a little tired. Especially the bathroom. Beds and pillows not very comfortable. We have stayed previously and didn’t have this experience. Again, new owners seem to be making changes so perhaps new rooms will be better. I do hope they keep the personal touches that have always been seen in Keadeen. Overall an excellent stay and occasion.
