This hotel was such an amazing surprise. We were leaving on a cruise the following day from the Port of Brooklyn and this hotel was perfect for us. Reasonably priced. Amazing staff. Continental breakfast was equally impressive. The bonus was it being walking distance from one of my favorite breweries. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was very clean, room was great. Check-in/out was easy with a combo of kiosk and email checkout. Breakfast was better than the typical ‘included breakfast’. I’d just say that we got to breakfast late and some of the items were no longer hot. So get up and go get it :) . We street parked because there was plenty available the night we stayed. They do have a nice lot if street’s not available.

This hotel is always great. Easy to check in, excellent rate, nice & spacious enough rooms, unlike the cells-like room at the Pod. Breakfast spread is hard to believe. Daily housekeeping service. Front staff very friendly and easy going.

We stayed one night so we could board a cruise the next day. Rooms were small but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than expeced and the dining room attendant was lovely.

Elevator was broke upon arrival. Staff helped carry heavy bags up to 3rd floor. Clean hotel, close to cruise port. Hotel is only 4 floors, so city view is not an accurate description. There are no stores near the hotel, pick up snacks and refreshments before checking in. Breakfast was good.

We were looking for a nice quiet place to spend the night before our cruise the next day. We could not have asked for a better pla e to stay. Very quiet, very comfortably and very easy to get to the Brooklyn Poet from.

A quick overnight trip to the city to visit friends and we needed a place to stay convenient to Red Hook and Park Slope. Accommodations were great. Front desk was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and roomy for 2. The continental breakfast was simple but a bonus to be included in a NYC hotel - coffee, juice, cereal, toast, fruit and muffins. The price can't be beat. Will definitely recommend to friends.

After reading some of the reviews, I will admit I was concerned. But wow. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were exactly as promised. We had a great nights sleep before walking the few blocks to the cruise terminal to start our vacation. Zero complaints. Also wanted to add, we walked up the street to Wraptor for a cocktail and what a great place as well. You can see the people are trying to revitalize the area. We will definitely be back anytime we cruise out of Brooklyn.

I was given room C14. Unfortunately it is right opposite the elevator and the storage room. Whenever the staff would collect the carts and cleaning supplies they would talk to each other loudly. I personally didn’t care because it only happened during the day. It was really quiet at night. I’m mentioning it because I think some people might be bothered by that, so if you get C14 keep it in mind. The breakfast was okay. It’s from 6:30 - 9:30. I went at around 6:40 am and it was not too crowded. Definitely got more people around 8 am. The breakfast area is on level C so it was another noisy area. I got lunch at the Wraptor Bar and Grill. It’s very close to the property. The prices are okay and the food was good. There are other dining options within a 5-10 minute walk. The biggest reason I liked this place is the proximity to the cruise port. Took me about 14 minutes walk to get to the cruise port. If I sail out of Brooklyn Cruise Port again I would definitely come back to this place.
