Amazing hotel. Great service. Gorgeous pool. Delicious food

Just stayed here on a business trip and my 1,200 Gucci bag that I got as a gift stolen from my room while there. When trying to retrieve the bag I called the front desk and security multiple times to try to get answers. Nobody called me back on two occasions. I had to show up in person at the hotel on the way to my flight out to try to get a straight answer about where my purse went. Still didn’t. Disappointed in how to hotel delt with the whole situation and they still haven't found my bag. I didn't take it anywhere and it was hanging by the door during my whole stay. Then gone and no answers. Obviously I've filed a police report and we'll see what happens...stay somewhere else if you want to keep your loved possessions. I'd expect more from a 5 star hotel.

Had handicap accessible room. Bathroom lighting, especially over the sink, needs to much brighter. Roll in shower still needs some sort of curtain to prevent water ALL OVER the rest of the bathroom! No exhaust in bathroom to pull out the steam. No coffee in room - had to go to bar by restaurant to get morning coffee. Cookies good. Air conditioning was great. Lots of electrical and USB outlets. Restaurant was good. Elevator service was poor.

We encountered 2 terrible bartenders at the main lobby bar. These two guys were more hungover than I was and I was in town for a wedding. The elevators at the property are always slammed and are very slow we ended up taking the stairs up 6 flights most every time.

I cannot begin to express my disappoin**ent with this place. We live in NYC and thought we’d treat ourselves to a fancy staycation anniversary night at the Williamsburg Hotel. Check In is at 4pm but we arrived a bit early to pre-check in and make a pool reservation. We were told we could go anytime between 4:30 and 8:30pm; our room was not ready until 5pm, by the time we got in our room and changed we were told the pool was closed but we could instead go in the morning, that they changed the reservation; they did not, and I had to argue with people just to get our reservation honored. We arranged for a late check out, but they de-activated our keys, they tried to apologize with a free breakfast and stopped us on the way out for a $2 charge for having added cheese to the scrambled eggs which was not covered as part of their free breakfast. Rooms small (and we upgraded to a balcony room). No decorations on the wall, just a big grey slab. Good luck getting access to the rooftop Water Tower Bar. A line down the street of clubbers and police everywhere. There is absolutely no perks to being a guest in this place. Bartenders were unfriendly. We spent more time across the street at another hotel because it was so much nicer and accommodating. Also, they claim the pool is heated…it is not. Ice box. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Ten thumbs down.

1.The room provided had ac issues. Took awhile to get cool. 2. Also when you take a shower the water literally runs out onto the floor. The design of the shower is questionable. 3.The elevators are really slow. Waited 6 minutes from the 8th to get to the lobby.

Found receptionist unprofessional at check-in. Room was extremely small for such an expensive rate; no room in closet to hang a dress, as they packed a safety box and a cooler at the bottom of the narrow closet. Bathroom was dark with an unnecessarily complicated shower mechanism. Upon departure, two days earlier than booking, I requested an email receipt. Never got it. Had to go back to the hotel to request a printed copy. Fabulous hotel a block away, Hotel Wythe, where I completed my stay.

Excellent location, great ambience, they still need to work in improving a bit more customer service.
