This is an excellent boutique hotel run by Julian and his wife. It was a beautifully appointed hotel - the room we had was large and comfortable and was an accessible room. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds and a delightful place to stay. Highly recommend.

This is a charming characterful hotel close to all the amenities of Nerac. The rooms are modernised, clean and comfortable. The hotel owners are very friendly, helpful and speak very good English. There is a bar area and outdoor seating with small pool. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended.

This hotel is lovely. The owners are lovely and very helpful. They have a great plunge pool and great cozy public spaces including a little pub. Breakfast is beautiful we wished we could’ve stayed longer. Rooms are very modern and have everything you can or would need.

Lovely and charming hotel well situated in the historic town of Nérac. My husband and I had a lovely one night stay in this hotel. The Hotel has been modernised but it still keeps much of the character of this lovely old building. while preserving the authenticity and charm The manager and his wife were very friendly and helpful - They really made us feel welcomed and ensured our stay was enjoyable. It's a great location, just 5 minutes walk from the palace and the river. Nicely appointed room with many luxurious touches... and spacious, with a very nice bathroom and wonderful shower. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well thought out. Breakfast was available in a light a bright modern room, that still holds some of its original features. Excellent continental breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it

We found Nerac and the Hotel Henri IV by luck and were happy we did. The property is modern, but with vintage charm. There is a small inviting pool. The on-site owners were friendly and helped us locate a restaurant for dinner. Breakfast included a variety of treats. We would return to Hotel Henri IV.

The hotel itself is beautiful. It was clean in a great location. And for an older hotel it was relatively quiet at night. So all in all it was great. Until departure. And the horrible desk clerk. I have never been treated so rudely and so mean. My flight was delayed by four hours and he had ordered me a taxi the night before. And wanted to charge me €70 to go to the airport and I was OK with that because it was a 6 AM pick up. So when I saw the flight delay I called downstairs and canceled the cab no problem. Then when I went to check out he wanted to charge me a penalty because I had canceled the cab and I was going to take an Uber to the airport for $48. He was so rude and so mean and so obstinate that I would never stay in this hotel again. Even though I did plan to rebook it. So as far as my review goes the hotel was great. But I would never support a hotel that allows staff to treat their guests like I was treated. And I am the nicest easiest going person. But after a perfect two weeks in France. What a horrible way to live I was so upset.
