Overall a great experience, there were a couple of things that could be improved, we encountered some rude staff at Tesoro but that was not the norm. Shout out to Jason and Philip at the piano bar they were amazing. Every time we had any interaction with Static and Justin it was a blast. Did have a few problems with towel shortage however it was resolved quickly through the Gina app.

There are many great things about this resort but there are also some mediocre things. First, the Aralia house (on the island) is the best lunch spot. Our waitress, Shawnelle, was perfect! She waited on us twice of the three times we went to the island. She is well spoken and delivered our food as ordered. This was not a common occurrence- a couple places lacked the hospitality that we are accustomed to at sandals. Our orders were either half right or very late. Like they forgot about us. This had not happened to us at any other sandals so it was surprising. The next downside was the coffee (I love morning coffee) and normally sandals had a dedicated coffee shop at their resorts. This was the exception- a small food truck was the coffee shop and honestly the coffee was not good. As mentioned the food was just ok. The best thing was Soy- sushi and aralia. I think they need a little redo on this resort in the near future. We love sandals and will continue to visit various locations.

It was our first time at a Sandals and we were spoiled! We were treated so well by our 3 butlers, Angela, Darrion and Vadis. We missed them when we left. The food was very good and the French Champagne (sparkling wine) was very good. Our room was beautiful, staff are all friendly too. The beds could be softer and they never found me a mattress topper, but other than that, I have no complaints. The island is incredible, and the seafood risotto was amazing. The views are simply breathtaking. Jason is also an amazing bartender and knows how to take care of his guests. It was nice to see Static at this resort. His energy is infectious. Would definitely recommend this resort to everyone.

Ok so some good bad things to go over here. LaPlume for breakfast eventually got better we used it everyday except twice during our 10 day stay. Butches great place to eat eventually with a booking you may need to wait but the bar is great to wait Marcain great bartender runs the bar with ease an absolute credit. Italian great start but then a spaghetti bolognaise turned up ordered with beef just not great the beef took a vacation to the island just a red sauce with trace elements Gordon’s was closed our whole trip they said it’d moved but again poor meal. The island sandals show a huge place but only get a section on a pinnacle end. Stayed in west side, elevators see pics worked then went down to one then down to nothing. Whole lot went down for a day and a half no explanation Corridors plates rubbish ice machines broken not great when your paying in excess of €1k a day this shouldn’t be the case. I’ve been to several sandals resorts and feel this has gone from a destination which is a pinnacle of to one which is being let down by some staff are great to others who don’t care. Party pool just wrong like I said why would you return when pool balls and discusses are being bounced off ya head I’m not being a killjoy but when the quite pool are packed some older people have to sit there which they paid for but can’t get comfortable in this uk 18-30 1980s vibe there trying to promote. Ultimately we won’t be returning didn’t see any management until the returning members party.

Room extremely disappointing shabby outdated, shower over bath !! Chips out of furniture and dark wood furniture not the bright airy walk in shower room that was described. Multiple issues whilst in resort , room sometimes not serviced when we got back at 3.30pm gave them an extra hour til 4.25 still not done !! Food options poor no walk in buffet style for a quick bite however food truck trucks brilliant. La plume meal ordered coq au vin which should be chicken in a red wine sauce , what was served was chicken deep fried in some like batter resembled Kentucky fried chicken was awful . Difficult booking a la carte restaurants and we are here for 10 days not 5. Premium drinks not offered in all room types however round the pool they are available for you to have so why can’t all rooms have premium !! Sunbeds reserved early in the morning as early as 6am !! Positives lovely pool and beach. Lovely private island available too. Most staff lovely and very helpful especially a lady on concierge in west bay block sounds like jaydoniqa she was lovely and tried as hard as she could to put things right and jade part of guest services but unfortunately failed to resolve our issues to our satisfaction would I return - NO

I have stayed at several Sandals resorts, and this was the worst experience. We arrived on a Wednesday and were greeted with “Welcome Home”. Immediately, you feel that you have arrived at the start of a beautiful vacation. I was traveling with another couple on Club Level because I like the service you receive. During check-in, we decided to make reservations at the specialty restaurants at the resort. Our Concierge or Club Level person had difficulty making reservations and had assistance from some other attendants. They could only make reservations for Saturday at La Plume and Sunday at Kimonos. There was no offer to keep trying to make reservations for us. Meme, wrote down the two reservations in my weekly planner and handed them to me. Sunday night, we arrived at Kimonos, a Japanese steakhouse at 5:15 for our 5:30 PM seating. We were advised there was no reservation. At this point, we were very frustrated and assumed there was no way we could make a reservation elsewhere. I returned to my room while the others waited at a nearby bar. I retrieved my weekly planner, which had the reservation marked. I immediately went to Club Sandals and spook to the supervisor. I explained our situation and handed her the weekly planner. She left her office and spoke to the Concierge who happened to be working. I was asked to remain seated in the office, while they checked on the situation. After almost 25 minutes, I got up and started to walk around the surrounding area in frustration. About 15 minutes later, the supervisor walked with me back to the area of Kimonos and told me to join my friends in the bar and that she would check on the situation. A few minutes later, she returned, and we were told they would have a table for us at 6:30 pm. Although the supervisor apologized for the situation, no apology was ever given by Meme. On Friday, we ate breakfast at LA Plume, where breakfast is made to order. It took an hour to be served. Dinner at the restaurant on Saturday night was terrific. The service was excellent, and it was a great experience. Dining at the English Pub is not good. The food is below average, the Shepard Pie has barely any meat in it. You are eating a bowl of mashed potatoes. The drinks are not consistent at this resort. You can ask for the drink of the day, and at every bar, you will get something different. I stayed in a Club Level room facing the pool, Room 404, to be exact. The design of the room is horrible. There is no door to the area where the bathroom is located. If your roommate goes to the toilet, the light will blare over the bed. See attached picture. Housekeeping at this resort is poor. One day, they cleaned our room but did not leave any fresh towels. The following day, they did not replenish the coffee. The next morning, they didn’t wash the coffee pot out. The next day, no washcloths We were there on February 24th, “242 day” in the Bahamas, which is a joyous day. There was a small parade and dancing during the afternoon. The
