It was a nice experience. Amenities are very accessible.

The room looked absolutely nothing like pictures with an old dingey carpet and a tiny 28" TV. The fridge was broken and propped up on one corner with a stack of broken tiles to try and stop some of its wobblyness. The "private ocean view balcony" was instead a view of the trail to the children's park instead. The jacuzzi tub looked like the jets hadn't been cleaned in ages and were so black with mildew, neither my wife nor I thought it to be hygienic enough to use. The location itself was convenient, though, and was just a short walk to the beach.

I stayed here many years ago and it was beautiful. CONS Now I discovered that the elevator didn’t work, the stairway smelled of urine and the door handle on one of the stair cases was broken. I Didn’t use the pool, hot tub or restaurant amenities. The room was fairly clean. I didn’t have a kitchen only a microwave and coffee pot and a fridge that froze everything. Gone are the fireplaces and the big soaker tubs. No wine glasses. The connecting room next door was unlocked and no way for me to lock it so I just pushed my suitcase against the door… The front desk clerk was polite at check in, she advised me that if I needed anything to dial 0 on the room’s phone, that would have been great IF the room had a phone. PROS The bed was comfortable. Underground parking available.

Four of us drooped by for lunch on a dreary Saturday pm. We were seated immediately by a window. Service was quick and friendly. We had the mussels, the fries and the soup of the day. All the food was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend this dining room for great service and good nutritious food.

This was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. More like being on the bouncy end of a diving board, or maybe a trampoline, with boinging and squeaking. Pillows were lumpy and hard. There was no climate control and the room was hot and stuffy, on the ground floor so sleeping with patio door open was not an option. Also the room was dark and depressing, with little light from the tunnel-like patio. On the plus side, the room appeared to be recently renovated. And it had a Keurig coffee maker, so there’s that. This is not a property I would want to return to.

Bring your pillows, ear plugs and eye drops. Pillows like cotton balls is accurate, noise transfer between units is intense and pool will kill your eyes. Drive to Cedars orThe Rusted Rake if you want to have a good meal! Food is too expensive to not enjoy your lunch or dinner out.
