Hôtel la Peupleraie

As we pulled into the car park the front outside of the hotel looked ok with its white double glazed windows. However, we were given a room at the back of the hotel, with an old wooden framed window that was thick with condensation. As you walk down the corridoor to the room you could smell damp, which was much stronger when you entered the room. The walls and ceiling were stained and had what looked like dead bugs that had been swatted and cobwebs. Did not sleep in the bed itself as felt damp so just slept on top of it with the bedspread over us. The grounds and area around the hotel looked nice but there is nothing to do in the area. Thankfully we were only staying one night otherwise we would have left. Breakfast and dinner were ok. The restaurant and bar area looked clean and tidy. Shame about the room as it let the hotel down significantly.

The room smelt like smoke, had mould on the ceiling, damp floors and bedding. The bedding wasn’t clean and felt like it was wet from the dampness of the room. Found it very difficult to sleep. The pillows were kept in a damp mouldy wardrobe which is obviously something you wouldn’t want to sleep on.Whilst the bathroom had mould around the sink and bath. Spiders and cobwebs on the ceiling. Around the hotel was lovely but there is nothing to do in the area.

Nous avons dormi une nuit dans cet endroit l'accueil a été cordiale et le petit déjeuner a été correct sans plus pour cet hôtel ,par contre les chambre sont dans un état lamentable elles sont sales poussiéreuse avec une horrible odeur les toilettes sont aussi très sale pour exemple la cuvette ou l'assoie était jaune.Ctte endroit est a éviter pour hygiène.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix... chambre simple et propre... dîner maison très bien.. petit déjeuner complet... bref à ce prix c'est parfait... en plus un accueil chaleureux... je recommande

Très bon accueil. En partant, j'avais l'impression de quitter ma famille. Nourriture généreuse. Prix très honnête. Chambres propres. Un seul regret, j'avais une baignoire. La prochaine fois je demanderai une douche. Bien situé.
