호텔 파라디소 나고-토르볼레

A great hotel, stayed in room 209, fabulous view of Lake Garda. Can easily recommend as the hotel is well situated with lovely staff. Travelled with Caledonian. Staff there to carry our cases up to our rooms. Room was twin bedded, spacious, recently refurbished, lovely bathroom. Had the internet in my room which was fine, safe, fridge, etc but no English TV channels, not even news channels so bring your own entertainment if you need it.

We stayed at the hotel for three weeks for a family wing foiling trip and loved it. Though it was quite a long stay we felt very comfortable, the staff was extraordinary and Albina and Paolo, the owners, were attentive to every detail, The hotel is the ideal place for people practicing wind sports as it is located right in front of the lake, across the street from a great wing foiling spot. It has its own storage facility for boards and sails available to clients. Additionally, the restaurant, Mollo Paradiso, is one of the best in the area. The hotel is very well located, at walking distance from the center of Torbole, has amazing views of the lake from every corner and a very nice garden to relax and have a drink while enjoying the scenery. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

Wife and I did not sleep at all. AC is limited to 22c/75f. Windows open above loud busy street. Bathroom vent doesn’t work. Tiny rooms. Food was random chunks of fish with skin and bones thrown in a fryer. 3 times the price of the hotel we switched to at Hotel Lago di Garda which was amazing in every way HP was not. Parking is dangerous. Hallways and carpet are about 20 years old and paint crusting off. Towel when drying off ripped down the middle it was so cheap. Linens, pillows towels all held strong vinegar odor as they must wash everything in just vinegar and no soap. I tried driving to find another hotel at midnight but everything was closed. No front desk to change rooms either. The next morning. We asked to cancel second night, spa access and meals. They said “no”. 446 euro for two nights at literally the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Motels are better with air conditioners that work. Overall this owner could have held sympathy for us and cancelled at least the spa we didn’t use or meals we weren’t going to attend but no nothing. Honestly cannot think of how the reviews are so high. Our day of riding bikes and being active were all ruined. We also had to cancel and lose our money on bike rentals since we were so exhausted. The room art was literally “imaginary scene painted with chicken balls”. Cannot make that up.

Amazing views, great staff and its on the lake for watersports. Short walk (3mins) into Riva and the bars and restaurants. better than staying in Riva. staff happy to arrange a late checkout for our 16:00 transfer. Definitely recommend.

Un gioiellino di hotel, affacciato sul lago, originale nell’arredamento. Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Camere pulite con piccolo terrazzo vista lago, colazione ineccepibile, abbondante e ricca di prodotti ottimi, dolce e salata. La chicca è costituita dallo spazio esterno, diversi terrazzamenti con ulivi, sdraio, jacuzzi, sauna, un’oasi di relax.

Fantastische locatie, mogelijkheid voor opslag van je surfspullen, goed verzorgde en mooie kamer en erg vriendelijke en gastvrije bediening. Kamer aan de straatkant met balkon kan lawaaierig zijn, dus oordoppen om te slapen meenemen is zinvol. Wij moesten er aan wennen, maar vonden het geen groot nadeel. Zowel de surfsport als het centrum is op loopafstand. Wij kwamen hier met een groep voor een wingcamp, maar ook niet-surfers kunnen hier goed ontspannen en zich vermaken. Ons zien ze hier zeker terug, met of zonder wingcamp :)
