Despite multiple attempts to address this with your front desk staff, there has been a continued lack of clarity and urgency in resolving the matter. Upon check-in, I was charged for my stay. Initially, my bank declined the transaction due to Compass Cove attempting to authorize my card twice. After confirming with my bank, the payment was processed successfully. However, I later discovered that I was charged twice. I have contacted Compass Cove repeatedly over the past week to have the duplicate charge reversed, yet the issue remains unresolved. I have been told several times that someone would follow up, most recently being told that staff were "too busy" and would return my call later. While I understand that your team may be experiencing a high number of check ins, I too have obligations, and it is unacceptable that I must continue reaching out with no resolution or accountability. As a returning guest who has stayed at Compass Cove five times, this experience has been both disappointing and unacceptable. The lack of empathy, communication, and urgency is concerning. If I do not receive a resolution or direct response by the end of the day, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further, including seeking legal counsel. At this point, it is unclear whether this is a case of internal miscommunication or a larger issue with your payment processing system. I kindly urge you to take immediate action to review and resolve this situation. I expect the duplicate charge to be reversed without further delay.
