다 빈치 고릴라 로지(Davinci Gorilla Lodge)

깨끗하고 넓고 편안한 객실! 그러나 진정한 차이를 만든 것은 놀라운 직원입니다. 도착 시 신선한 주스와 함께 인사를 하고 부츠와 트레킹 장비를 벗는 데 도움을 주는 것(발 마사지 제공 포함)부터 셰프 다니엘이 준비한 맛있는 저녁 식사, 심지어 뜨거운 물병과 함께 밤마다 우리 방에 놓아두는 아늑한 장작불까지 우리가 감기에 걸리지 않았는지 확인하는 편안한 침대.... 더 이상 바랄 게 없었습니다. 직원에 대해 충분히 좋은 말을 할 수 없습니다(그림 1) .... 항상 로비에서 질문에 답하거나 음료를 제공할 준비가 되어 있는 관리자 Charles와 Kelvin으로부터(요청 시 좋은 아이리시 커피도 만들어 주었습니다. 😉) 세탁소에서 일하고 놀라운 예술가이기도 한 Daniel에게 몇 번 해본 아프리카 전통 게임(Igisoro)을 가르쳐 주었습니다. 그리고 아름다운 마당에 손으로 만든 점보 크기의 젠가 게임을 설치하고 실력을 뽐내는 "거인 젠가의 여왕" 게임이 있었습니다. 그녀는 또한 항상 친절하고 짐이나 기타 필요한 사항을 도와줄 준비가 되어 있는 엠마누엘 옆에서 하우스키핑 업무를 했습니다. 우리는 어느 날 저녁 현지 전통 무용수들에 의해 즐거웠습니다. 그들은 훌륭했습니다! 우리는 이곳에서 정말 즐거운 시간을 보냈으며 하룻밤보다 더 오래 머물렀으면 좋았을 것입니다. 직원들은 매우 친절하고 도움이 됩니다. 그들은 저녁에 엔터테인먼트 (현지 댄서)를 준비하고 트레킹 후 놀라운 발 마사지를 제공했습니다. 호텔은 좋은 위치에 있습니다. 공원과 가깝고 Dian Fossey 재단까지 도보 거리입니다. 우리 방은 거대했다. 밤에는 쌀쌀했지만 그들은 우리를 위해 벽난로에 불을 피웠고 침대에 고무 뜨거운 물병을 제공하여 밤새도록 편안했습니다. 우리는 확실히 다시 여기에 머물 것입니다.

Stayed one night before on the Bisoke hiking. The staff is super responsive and polite, making my stay at the lodge comfortable. During the dry season, the rooms can be cold. So there is an option for a fireplace, also they put a hot-water bag in the bed, which is very nice. There is a modern Fossey Museum-fond 200 meters from the lodge, which I recommend visiting.

Wonderful caring staff with a warm atmosphere . The food and ambience were excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay near the gorilla's. We enjoyed the post trek foot massages and are truly appreciate your cleaning our shoes!

I had an absolute amazing stay at the Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge. One of my favorite places I stayed in Africa! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and made my stay so comfortable. I did a hike to the golden monkeys and fell in love with the high mountain landscape and volcanoes. Located right up the road from Diane Fossey museum! I will be back!!

This is a beautiful place, with large rooms, and the staff is very friendly and polite. The food was the best I had on my whole trip to Rwanda, with special compliments to the chef, who not only prepares a flavorful meal, but also decorated de dishes beautifully After we did the gorilla trekking, we arrived with dirty boots and sore feet, but the hotel offered a complimentary foot massage and boot cleaning. They also provided firewood and hot water bags for the bed, which we thanked, since the temperature at night is quite low on the mountains I am really glad we got to this place

What a hidden gem! We had such a wonderful stay at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge during our weekend to do a gorilla trek. The individual cottages are very spacious and comfortable, made even more cozy with fires and warm water bottle bottles in the bed at night. Service was excellent - we were sent off on our hike with a filling breakfast and a bag of snacks, and when we returned the staff offered complementary boot cleaning (for boots fully submerged in mud - no easy task) and foot massages. Cottages are very large can easily fit extra beds to accommodate a family traveling together. The location is perfect - in a quite, lush green spot at the base of the mountains and near the park entrance, so a brief 10 minute drive to begin your early morning hike. Perhaps most importantly, most of the accommodations in this area are WAY overpriced for what you get, probably skewed by the very high prices of the gorilla permits, but Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge felt like very good value for money. Would highly recommend it!

Room was big, but there were spiders and insects inside room. Hot water was not there in the shower during our 2 nights stay. Earlier commitment to provide additional complimentary water bottles were not fulfilled, rather asked for extra money. Even during check out, a cup of coffee was charged extra at 5 usd. Average food. Overpriced stay. Even when we had complained about the poor service, they had brought an imaginary issue of giving discount to us, though we had booked six months earlier at 250 usd per night without any discount. The manager lady was very arrogant.

Best service ever: when we came back from our tracking, all our shoes and socks were washed, our feet became a wonderful massage and crogs. In the evening each room had a fire on and hot water bottles in the beds. Wonderful stuff, very flexible, friendly, heartly and natural. The rooms are appropriated to the area, no extravagancies, what we appreciated. Towels were changed each day, shower products included, hot water immediately coming, even hair dryer and possibility to hang several wet towels. The wifi was also in our rooms. Next to our tables, while eating, little portable ovens were provided, warm blankets laid on the many comfortable sofas. Breakfast was so delicious. We recommend the fruit plate.
