틸로레자 볼케이노즈 에콜로지(Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge)

Tiloreza is a gem. The staff goes out of their way to anticipate every need. For example, after a muddy hike they are waiting with flip flops and take and clean your shoes. The food is excellent and served in an intimate setting. The rooms are lovely. The hotel is conveniently located for gorilla trekking or any other activity in the area. What really makes this such a special place is the staff who are warm, welcoming and sincere. I highly recommend!

Came from DRC to take a break from misoginist men who treat women like we have no role in society....to arrive to Tiloreza to find exactly the same: was called a liar by Mr Festus for saying that a certain Mike sent an email with a rate of 160 USD for single despite me insisting that I would share the email with him as proof. Nevermind. You won't change the mind of a man who thinks women cannot speak, think or say the truth. And a woman who's angry at a man dismissing her gets labeled as crazy. Because she dared raise her voice to a man. On top of that, we "discovered" there were cheaper smaller rooms but we were never told of their existence. Problem is: accommodation in Rwanda is expensive for what you get and near the Volcanoes National Park is even more so. For the rest: The staff are really nice, friendly and attentive. The food was very good. But I'd suggest you get one of the cheaper lodges closer to the park.

This is a comfortable, convenient, peaceful inn on the outskirts of Volcano National Park. The staff was friendly and genuine. We slept well on their comfortable beds. The rooms were handsome and roomy. The pool was refreshing. We ate our breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Our guides had scoured the other restaurants un the area, but reported that we were best off eating in. The food featured local dishes and fruit, but was varied enough for the picky eaters in our group. The provided gaiters and walking sticks and washed on mud-caked shoes when we returned. Did a bit of laundry- cheap and fast! The grounds were lovely for a small inn.

This hotel is full of kind people who will take care of you from the minute you check-in until you leave! The room is really big and clean…and one of the best things about this hotel, next to the great staff, is they have the best food!! The chefs at this hotel are top notch, everything I’ve had has been so delicious and tasty, thank you all. I loved my stay here!

I stayed one night at Tiloreza, but I wish I had stayed longer! The lodge is lovely and lush; the food is good and nourishing; everyone is friendly and kind. The pool was very enticing in the sun. Lots of birds appreciating the beautiful grounds as well. Bikes available for rent. They will provide gaiters and shoe cleaning if you are trekking - my shoes have never been cleaner. The room was a great place to rest after a long drive and after my trek.

Very clean and nice hotel. Service was excellent. Food was good. I was only customer in hotel which was little bit odd.

We stayed 2 nights as the base for our budget gorilla trekking tour by Bamboo Ecotours. This was a great place to stay. Though in town without natural forest and many people around (as is the case with much of Rwanda), the lush gardens and room set ups made us feel like we were in secluded natural space, with good views of wild birds and the volcanoes. Food and wifi were good. The lodge also offered free gaiters (useful for trekking) and cleaned our very muddy shoes every day (which was also good for avoiding spreading disease to the gorillas). Staff (as in much of Rwanda) were extremely helpful and friendly. The pool and spa looked good but we didn't have a chance to use them.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Volcanoes National Park for gorilla and golden monkey trekking. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond each day to ensure we had an amazing stay. The food was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed it here and highly recommend.

Very nice lodge. The staff was very kind and helpful. The meals were delicious. The room was nice and very spacious, tucked in with lots of plantings surrounding it. Everything was clean. The lodge seemed very secure.
