Good new hotel but the restaurant is still new and lacking the standards of a 5 star hotel.

While hotel has excellent location and it’s in a beautiful building with nice decor/design and has a very good restaurant ( we used it for breakfast and dinner ) - room up-keeping and general management are very poor. The bathrobe was not changed from the previous guests - I found tissue and lighter in the pockets - which I found disgusting, they have never replaced the bathrobe. TV set didn’t work, we had to call engineer twice to fix it. Chromecast not fixable either ( from Android or Apple ). We stayed for 4 days and tea/ coffee/ honey/ sugar were not refilled for 3 days in a row. It supposed to be complimentary but I had to buy my own. No shoe bag available - to give them shoes for polishing. On Sunday there was a party in the hotel patio (!) - from early afternoon until 10pm - with lots of people talking and laughing loudly and with extremely loud life music ( violin included ). It was impossible to have a rest not to mention sleep. I do believe when guests pay €1000/ night they deserve to have a comfortable, smooth stay. Location is not enough. AVOID by any chance. Go to Mandarin Oriental or Kempinski.

The location is spot on, very close to the shopping streets, but still on a quiet corner, so no cars driving through all the time. The service, attention to detail and extremely friendly, gentle and professional customer service across the whole property is what made this hotel special. From the front desk, to the breakfast staff and pool ladies, everyone was more than helpful and willing to do anything to make my life more pleasant. I especially enjoyed the friendly, attentive and professional service at the breakfast, they rememberedy name, room number and my orders very quickly, making me feel special and more than a random guest. The breakfast was truly 10/10. Very often a breakfast has a limit what is included to the room rate from the made-to-order list, but not here! You can order every single dish from the list if you wosh with no extra charge! (Btw you will not be able to, as there are like 30 dishes available + the small buffet). The pool is very calming, pleasure to the eye and very luxurious. The warm sunbeds were my very favorites! The bed was very very comfy, with the nice down topper making it very soft. Pillows are quite hard and high, and I did not find a pillow menu to fix the issue. The only other issue we had was with the turndown service. We specifically asked it to be timed between 6-7 after the first night, but it really did not work out for some reason. The next 2 nights they came after 9 pm when we already were back in the room showering. Then they missed us completely one evening, and finally then they did hit the right time. Also make sure to check your invoices, we had booked a rate that included the breakfast, but in the invoice they still had the breakfasts added for each morning. I asked them to fix it but still had one breakfast slipped into the bill even after noting them. All in all this experience made me a fan of Rosewood hotels, this being my first stay with them. I would consider them to be very much on par with Mandarin Orientals, St Regis and way above Park Hyatts, Waldorfs and Ritz Carltons.

Our stay at the Rosewood Munich in April for three nights was one for the playbooks with every aspect perfection at its highest. Welcoming greetings begin at curbside with a smile followed by attentive assistance to check-in and beyond. The service is unparalleled and every staff member aims to make your experience at the hotel and in Munich memorable. They succeed exceedingly and unequivocally! Our suite defies description but I will try to do it justice. Suite 123 is on the first floor overlooking the city. On two levels. our suite was comparable to a move-in-ready, spacious, luxurious apar**ent outfitted with every convenience such as a wine/beverage/Nespresso bar replete with a fully stocked refrigerator. The marble bathroom took my breath away with the drawer filled with every item you might have forgotten, soft towels with extras, double sinks, free-standing soaking bath tub, and separate large walk-in shower as well as a separate room for the toilet. The bathroom has a huge floor to ceiling window with a remote controlled curtain. With its high ceilings, the bathroom like the rest of the suite, is bright and airy. There were two closets with a cushioned built-in in between and plenty of space for two luggage racks and our two bulky suitcases. The closets had plenty of hangars; soft robes and attractive, comfortable, sturdy slippers. The living area also had a huge floor to ceiling window with a remote controlled curtain. The decor was contemporary, understated elegance - truly beautifully styled but not overdone. I could find no fault especially after my husband and I figured out the controls. I must admit that I am technologically challenged. Our suite had many special features - too many to enumerate! The Rosewood Team is a team in every way; choreographed to ensure that each guest has an unforgettable stay. The welcome wine and delicious sweets were much appreciated and enjoyed. A special shout-out to the Check-in team, team members and to the Concierges who made sure that our stay in Munich was Magnificent, Marvelous and Magical.

The location is amazing and very central.That is the best and the only positive thing about the hotel.Reserving it I asked for a very quiet room and a receptionist assured me I have got it.During the night I discovered that my room was facing the car park (like 40 meters away) with all the noises possible and impossible.Then after I had to take a slipping pill to get to sleep ,I was woken up before 6am with the delivery noises and rubbish clearance right below my room.The staff is trying to be helpful but they (90%) nor speak nor understand English! The concierge is giving you directions round the hotel and is mistaken where left and right is.The level of unprofessionalism of the people working there is ridiculous.The hotel logistics is absurd as its full of stairs and strange passages.Not wheelchair or people with injuries friendly.The cherry on top of the cake was that I bought some articles from them which appeared to be wrong sizes when I got home and the management did not care nor getting back to me nor sending apologies.

The ambience, the location, the design, and the decor are beautiful. Every staff member was so professional, polite, and friendly, which made us feel very special and welcomed. Our recent stay at the hotel featured two Deluxe Suites, each over 60 square meters and uniquely laid out with separate living rooms, bedrooms, and dressing areas. The rooms were tastefully decorated with fine details and a well-stocked, chargeable minibar. Notable amenities included custom coffee machines with milk foamer (rare find at hotels) and high-quality Marshall Kilburn sound systems. The suites only had one toilet, but the bathroom towels were plush and luxurious. Additionally, the light and curtain controls scattered around the room and were inconvenient to operate. The hotel's overall service was exceptional, particularly at the front desk and restaurant, with attentive staff and a welcoming a**osphere. However, housekeeping was inconsistent, often overlooking details like cleaning used cups and utensils during turndown service. Also, despite requesting room cleaning via WhatsApp, we returned in the evening to find that one of the suite was not serviced. The initial response from the staff was that the room had already been cleaned at 10 am, suggesting potential operational immaturity due to the hotel’s newness. Additionally, there were oversights in room service, such as occasionally forgetting to replace items like cups and towels. The dining experience was excellent, with all meals, especially dinner. Breakfast was also delightful, despite limited options. Situated in the heart of the old town, the hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of major attractions and luxury shopping streets. In summary, the Munich hotel was impressive in most aspects, making it a top choice for travelers.

Just returned from an absolutely unforgettable weekend at Rosewood Munich. Everything at the hotel was beyond our expectations. The room was so beautifully appointed. Sheets, toiletries, towels, coffee maker, hair dryer (Dyson!!)—all 5 star. I really enjoyed all of the tasteful room decor, with special note of the beautiful bar cart. The bathroom was really stunning. We travel a lot and this hotel experience was by far top tier. The amazing bar with the jazz band, the beautiful restaurant, gorgeous lobby, cozy fireplace downstairs…hard to find a fault anywhere. The location could not be better, right in the heart of it all. Would highly recommend and looking forward to a return trip!
