Mullingar Park Hotel

Last minute decision to stay over in this hotel. Wasn't expecting much, but what a beautifully presented hotel. The hotel is designed fabulous. The chandler on entrance is stunning! Felt very plush indeed. Hats off to those involved in the design and all the fresh flowers wow! Breakfast was really good, bar food was delicious. Staff were really lovely. The only negative was that the room was unbelievably hot as there was no AC. Only an issue in warmer weather, though. Our room was not on the same level as downstairs, but hopefully, rooms are next on the list to be updated. Spotless clean and lovely all the same. Also, a really nice Chinese attached to the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Would certainly return.

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Mullingar Park Hotel this June, and we cannot praise the entire team highly enough. From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make the planning process smooth and stress-free. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference and set the tone for what became the most magical day. Every detail was taken care of with such attention and precision. The floral arrangements were stunning—elegant, vibrant and tasteful. The hotel's décor and ambiance created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. On the day itself, the hospitality was second to none. Our guests are still talking about how friendly and attentive the staff were throughout the entire day. The food was absolutely exceptional—beautifully presented and delicious. From the canapés to the evening buffet, everything was just perfect. We also held our Day 2 celebrations at the hotel, and it was the perfect continuation to our wedding day. Our guests made full use of the pool and leisure centre in the morning after a delicious breakfast. The food was just as amazing, which we enjoyed in the beautiful gardens at the rear of the hotel. We’re especially grateful for the support we received in the lead-up to the big day. A special thanks in particular to Matt, Imelda, Ita, Jennifer and Aidan who could not have done enough for us both in the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. Thank you to everyone at The Mullingar Park Hotel for helping us create memories we’ll cherish forever. You truly made our wedding day unforgettable.

We had dinner bed and breakfast as a couple,sat 8th Nov. Our room was spotless and comfortable,the view was lovely. The leisure centre is really lovely and also spotless. Our dinner was delicious and staff in restaurant were superb especially the maitre de. We had an amazing breakfast next morning with a great variety of fresh produce and a fantastic selection,my omelette was delicious. CNt wait to return xx

First impressions are excellent - the reception is beautifully appointed and very welcoming, a lovely calm space to relax and socialise with two fires and plenty of comfy seating. I booked a double room but was given a family room - the extra space was great, the bed was very comfy, and the room was quiet. The swimming pool is wonderful - spotlessly clean, with a fantastic hydrotherapy pool I could have stayed in all day! I dined in the bar, the food was good and service prompt and professional. The only thing to bear in mind is the hotel is a good 30 minute walk from the train station, or a 10-15 euro taxi ride. There is a bus service that stops nearby, but it is a very infrequent and unreliable service.

Myself and my brother went there for lunch today with a friend. We dined in the restaurant and had the 4 course lunch. The food was just amazing, and the presentation second to none. From the moment we stepped into the dining room, we were waited on like royalty, and wanted for nothing. Fantastic service from highly trained staff. Priced at €42. Per person it was certainly good value. I will be back for more...

My husband & I absolutely loved this hotel. The accommodation was excellent, staff were great at all levels & food was fabulous accompanied by an excellent wine list. We used the pool & leisure centre which is very modern & spotlessly clean. Highly recommend this hotel for a weekend break or a holiday, we can’t wait to return! !
