골든 메어 - 올 인클루시브(Golden Mare - All Inclusive)

The hotel was clean and staff extremely friendly. The main hotel bedrooms were very noisy which meant you could hear talking in bedrooms 2 doors down opposite to you. I checked one night twice our patio door was not open as I could hear our neighbours on the balcony next to us extremely clearly which kept me a walk to the early hours. The food was extremely average with a lot of the main dishes repeated each lunch and evening meal. Salad bar was limited with a choice of 5 dishes and that included grated carrot and a bowl of lettuce. Drinks were good however the coffee machine did not produce good coffee. The entertainment was excellent at night. The roof top bar which is stunning is not open till 7pm and is not included in your all inclusive stay which was disappointing. The location is perfect with stunning views along with many cafes and bars dotted along the coastal road in 5 mins walking distance. It takes 30 minutes by taxi or private hire - we took private hire to old town Corfu ( highly recommend All Corfu private hire who were fantastic and even took us to a great location on our way back to hotel for a photo view opportunity)

We went just a week before season started. Had and upgrade for free for sea view. Lovely people working there. If You want city break there's a bus or you can rent a car. Not many things for kids. If you want to go to calm, refreshing place that's place to go. Food is lovely, drinks are made with heart. Staff is lovely 😍

Spotless clean modern hotel with fabulous views overlooking the sea and the mountains. The young staff are all brilliant, friendly, helpful and professional at all times. Great vibe by the pool & terrace each day, quiet and relaxing with great music playing. The evening entertainment is varied and suited us perfectly. The guests were all lovely, great atmosphere in the hotel/around the pool day and night. The food was very good each day and had something for everyone. The salad bar and deserts are fab. Evi on reception was so helpful to us, advised on buses, day trips etc. The bus to Corfu Town stops outside the hotel door and costs €2.80, the journey takes approx 30 minutes. We will definitely return again for a relaxing break. Well done to all the staff

Fantastic holiday, great food, clean tidy room. Wonderful experience at the spa, I had an amazing hydrating facial and de stress massage by Maria and Spyridoyla, if your visiting the hotel highly recommend a treatment. Super relaxed afterwards.

Right from the start of our recent holiday (17-27 May) I don't think I've been in a more obliging hotel and staff ( all of them no exclusions) without exaggeration - reception, bar, cleaning, maintenance. Things are done efficiently and promptly. A relatively small hotel; clean everywhere and friendly. The vibe is relaxing, and easy going making you feel you are visiting friends in a big house! We always ask ourselves would you go back there? Definitely! One or two other thoughts.... whilst I imagine budgets are tight, I would love to see the occasional 'themed' meals to give a sense of adventure to the mealtimes. I'd love to have seen a bit more fresh fruit and personally.... cheese but that's me. Good entertainment . I wouldn't say this hotel is not ideal for kids not much for them beyond the pool ... more of an adult setting. A good holiday all round. Thank you Room 311 - John and Jane x

We stayed at golden mare between 16th - 23rd May, the hotel staff were extremely accommodating and helped us where possible. The hotel was a small lively atmosphere, there’s a bar by the pool with a large selection of cocktails (even mocktails), beer, hot drinks and soft drinks. The food selection is different everyday however might not be brilliant if you’re a fussy eater but there’s definitely something for everyone. There’s a rooftop bar that is quiet but lovely (isn’t included in all inclusive). There’s a small beach down some steep steps at a bar opposite the hotel which is lovely and seems to be quite an unknown pebble beach. All together it was a lovelllyyy holiday and we really enjoyed ourselves and thank the staff for making our memories for us 🩷

We were very happy to stay hear. We were here 4 years ago. Great place, easy to reach Kerkyra. Old town is amazing. There is a lot places to vist: Paleocastritsa, Angelocastro and others. Beautiful views from balcony, planes and sunsets. Very good personal of hotel, especially marios elena and evi .Very nice pool. I will arrive here in the future one more time

Fantastic two week stay at the Golden Mare, staff cannot do enough for you and go above and beyond to make your stay the best, Elena and Katerina on Reception greet you with a smile from the start and if you need any information on buses to get around the island they are your girls. Hotel: Very clean throughout, rooms comfortable with very good beds, bathroom slightly dated but you gloss over that as they are so clean, housekeeping very thorough and if anything is needed just ask and they will supply. Pool Area: The view is outstanding, whole area cleaned everyday, pool is a nice depth and there is also an attached shallow children’s pool, we had no problem getting a sunbed, there are no parasols but there are two shaded areas, the bar is situated at the side of the pool and Nefeli and Aggeliki will look after your drink requests. There is also entertainment most evenings beside the pool from Greek night to local singers. Food: Self service restaurant, however if you need assistance Katia and Kostas the waiting staff will help with anything, good variety of food and we had a vegetarian with us who found plenty they could eat, Greek and English dishes at lunchtime and dinner, with a good salad and sweet bar, lots of choices for breakfast from cooked to continental and of course Greek yogurt with fresh or dried fruit, as we were there for a fortnight it can be a little repetitive- but you will definitely not go hungry - if you are a coffee lover then take some with you or buy on day one as that was the only real let down as it is a machine and not the best. We will definitely return and would highly recommend, thank you to all the staff for being such fun and so welcoming.

Melissa S. Great hotel to stay in for a couple. Staff were brilliant and super friendly throughout our entire stay. Daniel and Kostas, the drivers, were amazing and always there to help. The room was beautiful and clean when we checked in and every day after that. The ladies at the front Helena,Evi and Katerina always there for any assistance we needed and smiling all the time. Thank you ladies! 😊 You should definitely try the roof Bar such a beautiful view and great drinks 🍹 Would definitely return in the future!Thank you 😊
