My favourite hostel in China so far! Located in a beautiful, quiet village with the tea forest right behind, the hostel was so welcoming and cozy. The owner was very friendly, helping me buy tickets, inviting me for drinks, snacks, even taking me and some of the other girls out for a village dance. There was a wonderful feeling of community and female companionship, if I ever return to Jingmaishan, I'll be sure to come here!

Jingxiangrun B&B를 선택하는 것은 완전히 우연이지만 Jingmai Mountain으로의 여행에서 가장 올바른 결정이되었습니다! 가게에 도착한 후, 나는 주인의 열정과 세심한주의에 의해 둘러싸여있었습니다. 체크인부터 출발까지 매 순간은 따뜻함으로 둘러싸여있었습니다. ～ 홈스테이의 객실은 깨끗하고 깔끔하며 조명과 환기가 훌륭하고 침구가 부드럽고 편안합니다. 사장님도 특별히 무료로 객실 유형을 업그레이드 해 주셨습니다. 공간이 더 넓고 아기와 함께 사는 것이 매우 편안합니다! 2층 테라스에서 별을 바라보며 일몰을 감상하기 매우 편리합니다. 더 찌르는 것은 사장님 가족의 의도입니다. 인생의 작은 요구는 항상 처음으로 응답할 수 있습니다. 친척집처럼 낯설지 않습니다. 가장 놀라운 것은 매일 스토브를 둘러싸고 차를 만드는 시간입니다! 사장님과 여주인의 안내에 따라 전 세계의 손님들이 함께 앉아 차를 끓이고 수다를 떨며 무의식적으로 새벽까지 수다를 떨고 있다. 주인과 그의 아내는 특히 관대합니다. 그들은 우리가 하나씩 맛볼 수있는 모든 종류의 차를 꺼내고 상자 바닥에서 최고의 차를 공유하고 차를 마시면서 우리에게 차 지식을 설명하고 차 향이 섞여 있습니다. 웃음, 여행의 가장 기억에 남는 따뜻한 추억이되었습니다 ～ 더욱이 사장님은 주변 명소 내비게이션, 정통 케이터링 추천 등 실용적인 정보를 포함한 독점적 인 소형 프로그램을 직접 만들어 여행의 모든 걱정을 직접 해결했습니다! 설날의 전망에서 마이산에서 기대했던 것보다 더 핫하지 않다면 숙소가 다 꽉 차서 정말 며칠 더 머물고 싶습니다. 여행할 때 가장 호화로운 것은 ”안심”이라는 단어이며 Jingxiangrun B&B는 우리에게 완전한 안정을 줄 뿐만 아니라 기대 이상으로 감동과 놀라움을 주었습니다. 사장님의 성실함, 무자비함, 의도가 이 여행을 더욱 만족스럽게 만들었습니다. 사장님의 홈스테이가 더 많은 사람들이 볼 수 있기를 바랍니다. 사업은 점점 더 번창합니다 ～❤️

Exceeded all my expectations of a boutique homestay with only six rooms . Ultra luxury linens and beddings , ,Panasonic view of sea clouds at the confer of your bath tub , tasteful contemporary chinese interiors , and to top it all , run by a simple humble couple who goes to ends to make your stay a comfortable one . When you stay for 3 nights or more , they cook up a storm of local delicacies for your dinner , on top of daily breakfast! Do be prepared breakfasts are local style . Bit there’s a great cafe nearby service Arabica yunna beans and it’s become one of my fave ! Def great value for money !

Review: Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) - A Tea Mountain Retreat As a self-proclaimed “well-travelled” individual, I never expected Jingmai Mountain to take my breath away again—but it truly did. The journey here is a testament to Yunnan’s untouched beauty, with rolling emerald tea fields, ancient forests, and villages where ethnic tribes have lived for generations. We decided to stay at Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) instead of the many BnBs on the mountain, having often found those overpriced and lacking in cleanliness. What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made it feel like home. Many of the team members come from nearby tea-farming communities, and their passion for the land was palpable. They didn’t just serve tea—they shared stories of the heritage behind it, offering insights into the different tea varieties and local traditions. The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality linens. I loved waking up to the sound of roosters and the first rays of sunshine streaming through the window. If you’re like me and prefer to leave the window open at night, the fresh mountain air is the perfect way to start your day. For breakfast, don’t miss the fresh rice noodles and seafood congee—so flavorful! The fruit selection was also fresh and changed daily. A pleasant surprise was finding Cha Ling (a premium LVMH brand) as the hotel’s amenity. Made with tea extract, it added a luxurious touch to my stay. One of my favorite experiences was the traditional tea baking session, Wei Lu Kao Cha. We gathered around a carbon stove, sipped Pu’er tea, ate locally harvested fruit and nuts, and learned to bake our own tea leaves under the guidance of tea masters. The staff’s pride in their cultural heritage shone through in every interaction, making what could have been a simple stay feel like an immersive cultural journey. For anyone looking to experience the authentic soul of Yunnan’s tea mountains, Eterna Venue Hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it provides a meaningful connection to this beautiful region.

민속 풍습은 Wengji Ancient Village의 끝에 위치하고 있으며 매우 조용하고 지나가는 관광객의 방해가 없습니다. 마당에 큰 테라스가 있어 일몰을 볼 수 있고 운이 좋으면 아침에 운해를 볼 수 있습니다. 관리자는 사장님의 아들입니다. 잘생긴 남자가 짐을 배달하는 것을 도와줍니다. 방벽에 가고 싶다면 배달도 해준다. 매우 열정적입니다. 저녁에는 밀크티를 구워야 하고 다른 것들을 구울 수도 있습니다. 어느 날 밤 관광객 차에 두부와 감자가 구워져 매우 분위기 있습니다. 놀랍게도 다음날 아침 일출을 보지 못했습니다. 방에 햇빛이 비치고 벽에 던진 그림자가 아름다웠습니다.

Out of expectation!! Jingmai mountain is not yet well developed as a tourist destination (which makes it more original and peaceful too). So I didn’t expect anything like Xiangongjia - the hotel is well furnished and designed with professional hotel management. The local owner is very friendly too and organised the fire dance on our first night. The restaurant in the hotel is incredible too - tasty and clean - a level I had never expected just in my hotel and not even in this less developed tourist destination - so we spend 2 nights here - so continent when it is less dangerous drive during night time in mountain area. The manager also helped me to prepare a bday cake for my friend and made tea for us. And thanks for sharing your and this hotel’s story. If you have the budget, this is definitely your best choice.

산 위의 B&B에 대한 큰 기대는 하지 마세요. 가장 중요한 것은 마을을 경험하는 것입니다. 발코니에서 보이는 풍경은 꽤 좋지만, 바다가 보이지 않는 것이 아쉽습니다. 내가 거기 갔을 때의 구름. 방에 제공되는 차 세트가 있어서 몇 번 다림질을 하고 멜론 씨를 먹고 차를 마시면서 일몰을 감상했습니다. 밤에는 발코니에 도마뱀붙이가 있을 텐데 한 마리 이상 있어요 😂 방은 대체적으로 위생적입니다. 특히 욕실 바닥이 좀 역겹고, 일회용품도 완벽하고, 목욕물도 좋지 않습니다. 아주 좋지도 않습니다. 더워도 추워도 적응하기 힘들고, 그날 밤은 떠나고 싶었어요! 2호점에서는 아침식사와 기타 식사를 무료로 제공하는데, 맛이 꽤 좋습니다. 2번 매장에서 다른 사람들과 이야기를 나누다 보면 집 가격이 서로 다르다는 것을 알게 되었는데, 그 중 일부는 플랫폼에 나와 있는 가격보다 직접적으로 가격을 제시했습니다. 2호점 위층 발코니 방 가격이 600이 넘었다고 했고, 우리가 얘기했던 삼촌은 같은 방을 400이 넘었다고 하더군요 🙂 식사하는 동안 사람들의 집값이 또 한 번 들렸습니다. 플랫폼에 비해 가격도 저렴하므로 직접 경험할 수 있습니다. 서비스가 없습니다. 입구 주차장의 경비원이 어느 교차로가 마을로 들어가는 가장 좋은 방법인지 알려주었습니다. 교차로에 들어간 후 호텔을 찾을 수 없었습니다. 오랫동안 기다려도 아무도 오지 않았습니다. 나중에 제가 직접 찾았습니다. 체크인부터 출발까지 접수원의 태도는 평범했습니다.

All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.

여기에 머무르는 이유: Manjing 및 Wenji까지 도보 거리에 있는 훌륭한 위치 (여기에 훌륭한 커피 장소가 있습니다 btw) 소유자는 매우 친절하고 도움이됩니다. 전망. 맛있는 차. 뜨겁고 강한 샤워 푹신한 베개가 있는 큰 침대.

We (2 German travellers) have been in the area of Jingmaishan and wanted to stay a night somewhere. The hotel is about 2 km away from Wengji Ancient Village, that means 30 mins by foot. At first, we wabted to book our hotel directly in the village, but it turns out that booking Diwanara hotel was the best thing that could have happened. The host, who grew up there and is member of the Lahu-Minority is so warm-hearted, he sits in front of his house drinking tea the whole day and we would never leave or come back without being invited to drink some of his homemade tea. He has tea fields 10 mins away from his hotel, and he even took us there to teach us how to collect the tea. Also he cooks breakfast for his guests, which is just delicious. For everybody who, besides the quite commercialised Wengji Village, also wants to have an authentic experience, we can warmly recommend Diwanara hotel.
