This was our first time to Tamborine, we stayed for 2 nights and would definitely return! The bed was so comfy, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and the property was beautiful! Nicely furnished and lots of little extra touches that you can tell the place is loved and cared for. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful room, clean and comfortable. Own parking space and place is well located. Owners are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a go to stay place. Room had a private patio which was very secluded. You can also order a full English breakfast to be delivered to your room.

This was the most pleasant experience! Helen and Peter were the most accommodating people. The room we stayed in was absolutely luxurious, the spa bath was so relaxing. The gardens were beautiful and the birds. The hot breakfast they made and delivered to us each morning was absolutely delicious, better than a cafe meal! I would recommend this place to any couple who wants a romantic place to getaway. We will certainly be back!

Our three day escape to Mount Tamborine was just what the doctor ordered. Our accommodation was first class. Our hosts, Helen and Peter are a very friendly and welcoming couple. They were there if needed, but the way the homestead is organised, you wouldn’t know whether they were there or not. Our comfort and privacy was their top priority. Our suite was spacious, very comfortable and well appointed. Everything was clean and tidy. The additional community rooms were also of the same high standard. The included breakfast was excellent, fresh and extensive. The optional cooked breakfast was exceptional and great value. If the opportunity ever presents itself, would more than happily stay here again. Frances and Bruce

It was a pleasure to stay here, very quiet and private. I stayed in Iris room and it was just perfect , with a nice balcony overlooking rainforest hedge. The room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast on the balcony was just heavenly. It is a lovely , peaceful place to relax and venture from to the local cafes, shops, rainforest walks, wineries. Thank you to the owners for this fantastic place !

Decided to head to Mount Tamborine for the first time and hubbie decided to book us 3 nights here WOW, from the minute we met Helen we felt at home - the place is immaculate inside and out, and very welcoming Our room was beautifully furnished with a private balcony, huge bathroom including spa bath and robes Continental breakfast included - great choice of cereals, breads, cold meats etc - loved eating while watching Peter in the gardens feeding the local turkeys and cockatoos! Excellent info in the folder in the room plus large amounts of leaflets on display, but Helen was amazing at knowing exactly what we were looking for - gave us a great choice of eating and drinking options in the area, and even the name of a local guy to use as a taxi driver as Ubers are few and far between! Gallery Walk within walking distance, but be prepared for a hill climb! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful B and B in quiet and peaceful surroundings yet not very far from Gallery Walk. Our room was spacious, stylish and immaculately presented. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen for guests and two stunning lounges to relax and read in. A full complimentary continental breakfast is provided and a cooked breakfast too if you prefer. Helen and Peter are lovely hosts. We have stayed twice now and will keep coming back.

I am not a fan of B&Bs but had to book into Mountain Sanctuary as a necessity for its proximity to our convention. It turned out to be a wonderful hidden gem. The gardens and its birdlife give the place a sense of serenity, and Helen and her home completed the picture. The place is spotless and beautifully appointed with everything you could think of, and lovely local artwork on the walls and soft furnishings. The breakfast is more than I expected from a "continental breakfast" and Helen made the effort to fit into our dietary requirements with grace and a smile! Everything was fresh and local. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony, the beds and pillows were comfy and the fresh bottled water and local yummy shortbread biscuits were appreciated! Definitely recommend Mountain Sanctuary B&B.
