Old Moshi Hostel

We enjoyed our stay at Old Moshi Hostel and would go back 100%. It’s been really fun not only because everything was clean but also because the people were incredible. Eva, Prisca, Rema, Jenny, Gideon and Emily, they all made us feel like family. Eva got us in touch with a Childrens home where we had the opportunity to volunteer for some time. It was incredible. They helped and supported us in everything we needed, organized the activities for us and showed us around. Don’t hesitate if you are thinking of going to Moshi. You won’t regret it.

Please, meet Eva and her family and friends at OldMoshi Hostel in Soweto, Ethan and Hanna, her children, Prisca, Jenny, Emily, Gidion,... they are all wonderful and special people who will make their best for you to feel at home. They collaborate with several projects for wolunteers making people from Moshi have more oportunities in life. I really recommend this place for anyone who wants to help or just enjoy the real life in Tanzania. Elena, from Spain

Fully recommended accommodation. You feel at home. The staff is very close and help you with whatever you need. The rooms are very cozy with comfortable beds and space for storage. The bathrooms are shared with the rest of the guests but it was never a problem to have them all at the same time, in addition to being clean. You also have enough space to do laundry. For me, the outdoor space was the best, since it was the meeting point with the rest of the guests where we could share moments. Also because there we ate the delicious food that they prepared for us. It was without a doubt the best thing I ate on the entire trip.

My experiencie was really nice. Eva and his family treat you as one more, the food is so good, the house is very clean and if you want to make any excursions or trips she will help you organising everything!! 10/10

I stayed in Old Moshi hostel last Christmas with my uncle and we loved it! We met there other volunteers from Spain and the staff, who were always making sure we felt at home. Prisca was our cook and she was great. Her food was incredible. And we discovered many beautiful places in Moshi thanks to Eva and Gideon. Both members of the staff are very welcoming, friendly and fun. Thank you for showing us your projects, I hope we will come back soon :)
