Seawood Beach Front Resort

Honest Review of Stone wood village resort : 1. Check- in time is 2pm /1400 Hrs which is apparently very late for any resort / hotel, had to wait outside for 2 hrs just to check in as we arrived at about 11.30 am, although they have a lobby to wait, still doesn’t solve the purpose after a long journey. 2. Absolutely no complimentary welcome drinks / water is provided, no matter how from how far you have arrived. Utterly unacceptable. 3. About the rooms, cranky wooden cottages, beds are fine, Wardrobe locker door broken , no hangers, pathetic TV service as all the free channels are available which no one watches. Even the basic channels are not provided, No electric kettle for hot water. The fan has a very annoying noise which wont let you sleep unless you only prefer AC which works fine. 4. Bathroom has many issues, foul smell from the WC , very poor flow/ pressure of water in jet spray and shower. Hot water is minimal as solar water heaters are provided. Water service can get suddenly stopped once the tank is empty which will take some time to refill. All these issues the management is already aware of via other reviews, but no action. 5. Breakfast provided is very wholesome and has variety with good taste. All in all the restaurant food , service and staff is very good. 6. Bathroom water is very salty, will badly affect the skin and this can be surely told as staying in other hotels in Goa the water is pretty soft. 7. The hotel has a policy of not providing buckets and mugs which baffles me considering the flow of water in tap and shower, also you cannot wash your clothes. Very poor. 8. Lastly , only visit this place if you like extremely quite resorts with no vibe at all and need to feel amidst nature as the place is beautifully made. Mr. Kavi was quite approachable and polite staff member. This review should help everyone planning to visit this place.

The stay here for us was satisfactory. Though the rooms were not clean upto mark, the food was awesome. We really enjoyed our breakfast . It was upto mark.The service by Satish and Vishwas was very friendly and courteous.

The hotel stay was good . Vishwas and christopher gave us great service ,food was great specially the breakfast . Great staff more over everything you expect in beach resort. With beautiful views and beaches

The breakfast was included in the package. The breakfast offers various types of food which are quite good. The staff is helpful and polite. Special shoutout to Mr. SATISH in the restaurant for his polite and helpful behavior. Overall a good experience indeed.

Satish and vishwas, Breakfast served was good limited but self sufficient. We asked for watermelon they gaved us a bowl. The room was cozy n cute for 1 couple is good. Only need little maintain in d bathroom

The Room Service is really great. The housekeeping is up to the mark the response time is very quick mistake Kavi at the reception to care of us very well and made our stay comfortable and peaceful thank you team stone wood for making my trip memorable and peace
