A truly fabulous place to live like royalty in Goa. The charm of living in a Spanish hacienda with huge comfortably rooms overlooking a beautiful swimming pool and gardens. The owner Raju a most loveable character, of this one of a kind establishment treats you as family and your every whim and fancy is attended to. To top it all the food is to simply divine . Raju has worked with some of the finest Michelin starred chefs around the world and produces magic on the dining table . You may never want to leave after this unique experience.

My wife booked the place and we stayed here for a couple nights and it was just horrific. First of all, we booked the place because of the great reviews it has. In India, great reviews is not as decisive as you may think. First negative aspect, the place itself: The house itself is great, the pool is very nice and the service staff, especially the guys preparing the breakfast and dinner were so nice and competently. BUT the rooms are old and not as presented as in the pictures! The bathroom is in need of renovation and that in a country were you can get craftsman so cheap! The soap was sticky and surely not changed and there is an old stinky mat laying in the shower. Just gross! The owner: We did not had a lot contact with the owner but he was listening to loud music every night while drinking. His service staff is still running around under full stress. Last but not least i want to mention that we payed around 140£ / night with no price transparency (Website, ***********,...) possible (at that time, now i can see the hotel at Agoda). In the area, especially at the beach there are a lot better accommodations.

Sur la Mer was so wonderful- beautiful hotel with a clean large pool. Great decor in the rooms. The owners showed tremendous hospitality, including a chat at the bar, and the food was delicious. Walking distance to the beach and good meals. Highly recommend!

The place Is lovely, I had the best time in Sur La Mer, the staff is very friendly and place is itself beautiful. It gave me really good vibes, I loved the experience, the food was delicious 🤤. I woke up from the peaceful sound of bird chipping, the place is located in of nature and there is also a pool, I do highly recommend this place for staying👍

Sur la mer is as good as heaven on earth. One of the finest resorts in the country and alluring swimming pool. The rooms are just too good to be true and the service is impeccable. The food served is way much better and delicious than any of the five star properties. The host Raju who is the owner too is incredibly adorable. One will never feel they are away from home, when in his company. You will laugh with him, sing with him, eat and drink with him. He ensures that you have the best time whilst your stay…..there is no other host like Raju, hands down…. Can’t wait to be back…..

Our stay was really outstanding. Sur La Mer is the place to be. The hotel is so wonderful and special like the owner Rajoo who is the greatest host we have met. The food is from another planet. So if you are in Goa don‘t miss Sur La Mer. For sure we will be back as soon as possible.

This Hotel is an absolute "Must Stay" if you are visiting GOA. The Owners are a delight to be around. The rooms are spacious and very well kept, and the best part is that you feel at home when at Sur La Mer Don't miss the delicious cuisine served here, and if you are LUCKY ask Raju Verman (Owner) to cook something for you as he is master chef material :) Hang at the Bar and be entertained... 5 stars for this one ! Have been to Goa plenty of times but my stay at Sur La Mer was the best so far. Had a great trip with my family. The food is absolutely yumtious both Indian and Continental. The rooms are spatious ,neat and clean . Staff is courteous and helpful. Highly recommend as its a beautiful property to go solo or with family. A big Thank you for a wonderful time to the owners Aneel and Naine . Wl be back soon for sure!
