Although we have visited this area many times over the years we have never been to La Roserie before this summer. On the first occasion we just had a cool drink in their lovely shady garden. The surroundings were so lovely that we booked for dinner, and since then have eaten there a few times. The restaurant is part of the hotel which is absolutely charming offering old world charm but with up to date facilities. The food is gorgeous and the service superb, and we can’t wait to visit again. Lovely staff too!

Everything about this place was wonderful, starting from the phone call to book a last-minute room, all the way to our departure the next day. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel is ideally situated, not too far from the Lascaux caves. Conveniently, there's parking right next to the square, and in case it's full, plenty more spots just around the corner. The building, garden, and rooms are all fantastic and well-maintained. They've even installed a lift in this historic building! We didn't dine at the restaurant, which I now regret, but the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip and recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Montignac-Lascaux.

Great stay. Good location along the Vezere river. Beautiful grounds, pool and sitting area. Convenient walk to cafes and restaurants. Easy access to Grotte de Lascaux. Very good breakfast with homemade breads and pastery. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The restaurant also serves an excellent dinner on select nights.

G;roup of three stayed in the River Blue suite for three nights to attend a wedding at nearby rural chateau. Very nice accommodations and exceeded expectations. Katia and Thierry were excellent hosts and the staff attended to everything requested. Breakfast offered broad range of food and the room was authentically french country. Large grounds including outdoor space and pool that you should take advantage of! Steps to the canoe and kayak rental on the river. Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy dinner here, as booked and our plans around wedding activities.Many options are available within walking distance in this quaint town, including two over the top boulangeries. Would definitely return if exploring the Dordogne region!

Dans un magnifique hôtel restaurant avec une petite terrasse très sympa; nous avons décidé de dîner la bas, l’accueil plutôt froid, le service pas très agréable, c’est dommage, car les plats étaient très bons.. une carte des vins sympa pour la région.

hôtel en pleine ville de Montignac prés de la rivière dans un cadre magnifique un jardin super entretenu avec des roses la piscine est magnifique c'est calme on se sent chez soi .Les propriétaires sont sympathiques accueillants .la chambre confortable avec la clim. très spacieuse literie confortable . et les repas succulents le diner parfait très bien servi petit déjeuner complet avec des produits varies frais .Merci de ce week end une adresse à recommander bon rapport qualité prix
