포조 첸니나 리조트(Poggio Cennina Resort)

We stayed there for a few days in a self catered Villa while attending a nearby wedding. Beware that the accommodation is quite difficult to find - it took us several attempts! The villa was clean, spacious and comfortable, although the furnishings were a bit outdated. The bed and bedding was quite poor quality and the lighting was bad throughout the accommodation. The grounds have much to offer though, with nice seating areas, a large pool and sport equipment available. Reception staff was helpful - they don’t have bar staff on shift, but were happy to make us coffee or sell drinks when requested. It would have been nice to have a few more basic things at the villa (e.g. washing up liquid), given it was self catered.

Our stay has been exceptional. The resort is immaculate the staff in-service is outstanding. The grounds are absolutely exquisite. And if you want the best cappuccino in all of the world you need to come here. They also have their own olive oil and wine that is made on the premises. Both extremely delicious. We cannot be more grateful to have had this opportunity to stay here. Highly recommend anyone to come here and experience the beauty of this place.

We booked a room but did not know that there was a generator near our room and was loud. The staff upgraded us to an apartment after a couple of nights. Just a tip, book an apartment if you are thinking of staying here. Breakfast was ok since there’s no shops anywhere near this place. If you can rent a car, better but I think taxis go here. Water pressure was good as well as the wifi. If you miss fast food after eating pasta 3x a day, there’s fast food choices 15 mins away ie Burger King and Mickey Ds. Overall, the place is beautiful and the staff made every accommodation to our request. They are the superstars in this place.

The resort is in the most stunning setting. The pool is fantastic. The accommodation is comfortable and has everything you need. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend and would return for another stay.

Very nicely restored village, extremely quiet, nicely equipped (including with a large swimming pool and tennis), well maintained. Comfortable and clean rooms. Only a few km off the main road. Weak Wifi though. Overall a nice place to relax and enjoy Tuscany.

What an amazing experience… I enjoyed so much.. one of the best of my holidays.. the place is wonderful… the real Tuscany.. the staff is so kind and you feel ALWAYS to be at home.. it’s so rare to find a staff so kind and polite… I’m going to suggest this location to everyone.. and thank you with all my heart to everyone of you to have trasforma my holiday in a dream..

Ho dovuto fare la doccia FREDDA con 2 gradi fuori perché lo scaldabagno aveva terminato l'acqua calda e ho dovuto utilizzare lo stesso asciugamani di mia moglie perché il mio era sporco!!  Non c'era un telefono in camera per chiamare la reception e in ogni caso a quell'ora era chiusa, quindi nessuno dello staff può accogliere le vs richieste/necessità (ore 19.30; le camere sono distaccate dalla reception)!! Teminato il checkout ci hanno letteralmente corso dietro dicendoci che non avevamo pagato, siamo scesi e abbiamo mostrato la ricevuta di pagamento avvenuto una settimana prima, stiamo ancora aspettando un "ci dispiace per l'inconveniente". Senza contare che la mattina che siamo passati a prendere le chiavi, ci hanno fatto scendere i bagagli dalla macchina, per poi farceli rimettere su dicendoci che la nostra camera non era pronta; quando sono andata a chiedere un cuscino in più per problemi respiratori (la camera ne è sprovvista), mi è stato consegnato in mano senza nulla intorno, le norme igieniche?! Il bagno prevede un phon ma dovrete utilizzarlo in camera perché le prese non sono adatte e manca un adattatore! Portasaponi in doccia cade da un momento all'altro, basta tirare le due viti che lo fissano!! Peccato perché il posto sarebbe molto bello se non fosse per la disorganizzazione, la poca pulizia e la poca attenzione non solo ai dettagli.
