We stayed one night at this small hotel at the entrance to the old city. The staff were lovely. Helpful, friendly, and so accommodating. Our room was basic but well appointed and the amenities indicated that thought and care had gone into them. Breakfast was basic but good, and the espresso made to order was very good. I would recommend this place for a one or two nights stay without hesitation.

Our first visit to Montalcino (my parents and sister are repeat customers here). Perfection! Our rooms, our gracious and beautiful hostesses, Eleanora and Elisa. VIEWS!! Our room had the most amazing views (#9, Viola). Our daughter had a 2 bedroom suite to herself & thought who she was (#11, Rosa). A lovely breakfast every morning. Loved every moment & can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at this hotel for one week with my mother and we absolutely adored it. We woke up to spectacular, pinch-me-it-can't-be-real views every morning and honestly, any time of day it was amazing to look through our windows. The pool was wonderful with lots of space to relax around it. Private parking as well is a bonus in this city. The staff at this establishment were so very kind and accommodating. They exceeded our expectations of hospitality and were beyond wonderful. The room itself was always very clean and comfortable. There was a TV in the room but with how busy we were, we didn't need to use it! The city of Montalcino had so much to offer that we were out most of the day and this hotel was amazing to just unwind. There are other rooms in this hotel, but it is always so quiet that you wouldn't know there are other people there. It was incredibly serene. The shower had a rainfall setting which was wonderful. Their commitment to being eco friendly is also really lovely. The breakfast they serve is amazing! Croissants, cappuccino, fruit, prosciutto and cheeses were all delicious. Above all for us, the staff really shines here. I would definitely recommend staying here!

What a wonderful night stay!! Elonera was amaing and made our experience brilliant. Nothing was ever a problem, she went over and beyond gave fantastic recommendations. Accomodation was basic but comfortable and had fantastic views! Breakfast was quite good. Highly Recommend

Have just spent 4 nights at Hotel Vecchia Oliviera. Could not have asked for a more pleasurable stay. From the moment we arrived Eleanor who welcomed us at reception could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Recommendations for restaurants, days out and a wonderful wine tour and tasting. The rooms are very clean, the beds comfortable, air conditioning works well and an excellent location with a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. The pool and outside area are also a nice bonus as the weather was very hot! Fantastic views. The breakfasts were also very good with a nice selection of food on offer. Also the hotel has it’s own parking area. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Fine settimana bellissimo in questa struttura ben posizionata. Io e mia moglie ringraziamo Eleonora ed Elena per l'accoglienza, la simpatia e i buoni consigli. Una nota particolarmente positiva va alla pulizia, raramente abbiamo trovato questo livello. Ci siamo ripromesi di tornare, la Toscana è bella e ospitale, anche per merito del trattamento che abbiamo ricevuto. Gabriella e Fernando.

Eleonora ed Elisa ci hanno accolto con una cortesia ed una disponibilità eccezionale. Suggerimenti per i migliori ristoranti con ottimi apporti qualità/prezzo. Indicazioni utili per iniziare il giro in moto sulle strade dell’Eroica. Parcheggio riservato. Struttura ottimamente tenuta; pur non potendo fruire della piscina, visto il periodo, la posizione della stessa sulla valle è splendida. Colazione impeccabile e varia (anche con prodotti artigianali)…in poche parole: torneremo!!! Carlo e Barbara da Roma ️

Io e mia moglie abbiamo soggiornato in questo tipico hotel di Montalcino per una settimana e ci siamo trovati veramente molto bene. Camere nel classico stile toscano ed un ottimo livello di pulizia a cui va aggiunta una varia ed abbondante colazione. Ha inoltre un posizionamento perfetto poiché consente di ammirare le colline senesi e si trova attaccato al centro di Montalcino. La marcia in più di questa struttura è sicuramente rappresentata dalla disponibilità e gentilezza delle due receptionist Elisa ed Eleonora: quest’ultima soprattutto con la sua contagiosa simpatia ci ha reso questa vacanza ancora più piacevole.
