The hotel is in the edge of lake Manyara and due to weather changes, the lake has expanded and flooded some areas of the hotel. This rendered some areas unusable (see below) and there have been adaptations to this. The tents are nice and well equipped, the restaurant is good and the food is very nice. Staff are nice and helpful. The drop in stars is due to the toilets and showers provision for tents that were not en-suite. For men there were 2 toilets and 1 shower and for women there was 1 toilet and 1 shower!! These were the only facilities for many many tents. We went to rather basic campsites in the serengeti that had triple that capacity. One day, a chinese guy took a 30 minute shower, and there was a huge queue waiting. Also, because the water is solar heated, everyone else (men and women) had to shower with rather cold water.

Everything I read about this lodge was true. Before even booking my safari I knew I wanted to stay here and I was not disappointed. To the contrary. I was amazed at the quality of the service and the facilities. A perfect jewel. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The place is clean and comfortable. Even if wifi is available only at reception. We didn't have hot water. But cool running water in a 100% functional bathroom was most welcomed after a day in a safari. Part of the camp was flooded so we didn't see many animals passing through except for the mischievous monkeys. You remember where you are and this exceptional opportunity to reconnect with what's most important: the people and the environment around you. I highly recommend. You can go, eyes closed. The picnic boxes are top quality. They think of everything for you before you even have a chance to realize what you need! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Exceptional glamping experience! Wish we could spend more time at this amazing site! Peaceful, with zebras, gnus and monkeys roaming around, amazing view at lake Manyara, the best swimming pool at sunset time, wonderfully decorated tented stay, excellent on all aspects!

Good beds, nice tents, beautiful suroundings, great pool, lots of animals. Would come back anythime ! The pool is very special with the Zebra’s roaming around. Great experience. Great food, super friendly and helpfull staff

Still the same quality in the Africa Safari. It was a nice place to chill after a day in the Lake Manyara Mational park. The restaurant is well located near the lake and we had the surprise to cross an hippo before reaching the tent! Good to have a Masai watcher with you in these moments. And again a great thanks to the staff, nice and helpful

We had a great time in Tanzania. Deo Mao was our guide. He told us everything about the animals, there nature en there behave. We saw the big 5 and much more animals. Every night we had a perfect place to sleep and eat. For us it was the best time we ever had.
