몬도르프 파크 호텔 & 스파

Reception was not welcoming and they gave us a room that had not been cleaned yet. When confronted with it they wanted to give us a room which was lesser and never apologized for the mistake. We ended up with the manager at the room still without apology for the mistake which can happen. They could simply given us keys let us go to the spa - apologized given us a voucher for some drinks as compensation and we would have been happy. The cleaning lady was the hero of the day - she understood the problem and apologized. Note to reception. Smile and coordinate your dress code. It is the first impression and the face of the hotel.

We stayed two nights. Pricey but unique. Very clean and well maintained. It can be crowded. We didn t find a room for Saturday,our third night. After check out we were allowed to stay in the spa the whole day,nevertheless. Easy access by car. Hearty breakfast. Quire a few bars and restaurants in the hotel installations. The village outside is very near. If interested,one can visit the nearby ******!

Luxembourg was a nice gentle city break. Not exciting exactly, but pleasant enough. It was just good to be travelling again. All very nice. Safe. We thought we’d done all there was to do then we found this Spa resort. It made our weekend. Travelling from the city central station was easy., once we’d found where the bus goes from. The bus was free, as are all buses in Luxembourg. It pottered through the suburbs for half an hour then dropped us a two or three minute walk from the hotel. We didn’t want the hotel but we did want the geothermal spa. Lots of pools, bubbles, jets, saunas, streams . Inside and mainly outside. Swimming, floating, cooking, aquarobics, bubbling away like a suet pudding. Wonderful . Next time we’ll take robes (everyone else had them) but we thought they’d be supplied. We only had my emergency swimming towel in our bag as thought we could hire them; I think you can but we couldn’t work out how to do this. Saunas we’re mainly ‘continental’ apparel but everywhere else was in swimsuits. There was a very good pizzeria in the village for lunch afterwards. Then a bus back to the city feeling very clean and relaxed.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. We paid 300€ for one night, got a room with view on a construction side, the room was dark, old, small. We had two small towels, and each one pillow. At the reception the guy did not even bother to applique high standard service. I complained about the room and he just told me: YOU could have wished for a room with a view, you could have wished for a room that is nicer. SORRY?? is it up to me to ask for quality by these pieces? At check out NO ONE of the management was there. I asked to be contacted, but no one called or emails me. The receptionist had a shirt that was not ironed!!! and wore sneakers. THIS IS A 4 Star Hotel high price hotel!! NOT worth the money. We will definitely NOT stay at this hotel ever again! There is that about the room. Then the Therme old and not cosy. Don’t expect a SAP Hotel for a nice romanitique get away. My advice: Take you money somewhere else. If you are used to high standard Hotels, this should definitely not be you choice. DON'T RECOMMEND THIS ESABLISHMENT you will not get what your money is worth.

Nous avons découvert ce complexe sur un après-midi. D'abord nous nous sommes rendus à la piscine principale (ouverte aux enfants) qui a été une grosse déception : elle est vieillotte, le carrelage est à rafraîchir, il y a du calcaire jaunie sur les bords etc. S'y baigner n'est pas agréable d'autant que les jets massants ne sont pas suffisamment nombreux. Il y a des files d'attente aux jets et un ordre de passage à respecter ! Vous devez aller de gauche à droite l'un après l'autre. Donc si vous souhaitez profiter uniquement du jet massant pour le dos, vous ne pouvez pas. Il faut d'abord passer par tous les autres jets avant d'arriver à celui que vous souhaitez et en plus vous ne pouvez pas y rester plus de 2 min top chrono. J'ai déjà fréquenté plusieurs termes et je n'ai jamais vu cela ! La piscine principale est une catastrophe à elle toute seule. En revanche, une fois dans l'espace Spa et Wellness (interdit aux -16 ans) ce fut une belle surprise ! Il y a tellement d'endroits à découvrir : une multitude de topics différents qui proposent tous leurs bienfaits ! Et tous ces petits cabanons en bois dans les jardins qui cachent des saunas, des hamams etc. J'ai adoré ! Nous avons fait deux des rituels proposés et le savoir faire des animateurs était plaisant. Bravo pour le rituel peeling au sel de l'Himalaya ! Quelle originalité ! Parcontre, pour les novices, nous avons été surpris de la nudité obligatoire dans les saunas, hamams etc. Cela dit, vous pouvez rester couverts avec votre serviette. Mais le maillot est interdit. Notez quand-même que les autres personnes sont totalement décomplexées et peu sont celles qui se cachent. Il faut donc s'attendre à voir des corps nus. Mais il n'y a pas de regards malsain ou de commentaire déplacé. Tout le monde est très respectueux. Au final, même si le premier aperçu a été une grosse déception avec la piscine, nous avons passé un très bon après-midi à l'espace Spa et Wellness.

Nous tenons à feliciter l'equipe de l'accueil en particulier Jea-Yves qui est toujours un modèle de professionnalisme. Il nous permet de nous sentir comme chez nous. Merci également à toute l'équipe aufguss en particulier Joachim qui a su insufler son professionnalisme à la jeune garde. Bravo pour avoir mis et maintenu une aquipe d'assistant surveillant pour la partie sauna.
