The restaurant building is separate and in good order. Most of the young staff were pleasant and help. One young lady is definitely not made for the hospitality business. Plonked down an order of sparkling water, not a word or a smile and walked off. The accommodation building is another matter. Gap under door showing Daylight. Thin carpet tiles stains visible. Damaged/rotted window frame. Lumpy bed, pillows with no substance giving no support. The room smelled of stale smoke, a damp musky odour. All on all a very unpleasant stay. We were booked in for a week but within 30 minutes we changed it to an overnight stay. This campanile is not up to standard

Our Group RBL Taunton has stayed at this hotel twice and we have found it to be exceptional each times. The rooms are situated in an annex from the reception, bar and restaurant area. Rooms are a good size with good firm mattressess. Beds with white linen. Air conditioning is provided and USB ports for charging appliances. Hairdryers and flat screen televisions. The showers in the en suite are powerful with rainfall shower heads. Rooms are clean and cleaned every day. Reception staff and all the other staff members are pleasant. Bar prices are very expensive but most hotels are. Breakfast is delightful with range of cheeses, meats, breads and fresh fruit. Please do try the yoghurt, la ferme de la vieille abbaye. Locally made near the hotel. We dined several times as the group and the food was of a good standard in the evening. Watch out for the garden as the mosiquettos can be in an ambundance. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Caen, we got a taxi to the centre and it was 25 euros. Caen is a wonderful city and comes alive at night. Recomend popping into the irish bar odonnells. Definately a good hotel to stay.

When we were arrived we were told that the aircon was broken (no attempt had been made to contact us or other guests we spoke to, prior to any of us arriving). The heat and humidity made it unbearable and we had very little sleep. The compact room was basic and functional and came with free parking. Sadly, this was of little use when the aircon (a crucial factor in us making this booking) was not working. Curiously, when we arrived at another Campanile the following night we were told there that the aircon was also broken....what a strange coincidence.

Un grand merci pour cet accueil convivial. Premier séjour dans cet hôtel et je me suis sentie comme à la maison. Une soirée était prévue et a rendu mon séjour encore plus sympa. Un vrai bon moment de déconnexion pendant ma semaine de déplacements. Le petit déjeuner était parfait mention spéciale pour le fromage local. A très bientôt

Matelas à ressort d'une autre époque !! Un fois allongé vous entendez des ressorts. Ça ne vaut pas 3 étoiles. Le couchage est essentiel dans un hôtel. Même si des ajouts de mobilier neuf ont été réalisés, la chambre reste vieillotte avec son crépi sous la peinture et une moquette aspirée avec du matériel aux filtres non changés. Un bon lit s'il vous plait Accueil et personnel parfait

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le personnel est très accueillant. Petit déjeuner copieux. Merci pour votre professionnalisme et vos conseils, nous reviendrons avec beaucoup d'envie. Merci a toute l'équipe
