Recently returned from this hotel, what a disappointment. But It’s not all bad the food and restaurant are well below standard. Let’s start with the food it is well below a 4 star hotel food undercooked ie: eggs chicken and various other items. On hotel website a chef in whites with nice pizzas and cooking stations with nice food, as per attached pictures We had Aldi budget pizza. Half of the food was not replenished and we gave up on fresh food after 10 minutes plus, also at cooking stations had an average queue of 20 plus people, there are about 5 stations but only one working. Two mornings only one toaster working with a queue of 27 people +,no glasses for fruit juice and no cups for hot drinks. Then there was the matter of seating the restaurant on some mornings some sections are cordoned off so there was a problem of tables, We sat at a table for six as the only place to sit the restaurant supervisor? Came and shouted at my wife to move as this was a table for six. Fair enough but when tables are full and dirty where do we sit. Then two very attractive girls then sat at the table we did nothing but laugh as he was taking to them and did not move them as we were now on our new table. The Other supervisor on the next week was shouting at the top of his voice at two young staff cleaning tables etc and banging things on a trolley not a nice experience when on holiday, upper management want to teach man management skills to staff in the restaurant. The restaurant is crazy people bumping into each other and very dirty nobody cleaning toast machine or various areas.it is very stressful to dine in such an environment. We decided enough was enough and we ate in local restaurants with other people from the hotel who said the food was not up to standard. If you book this hotel book room only some lovely restaurants in the area or a bus ride away. Now the good points of this hotel……. It is clean friendly, staff cannot do enough for the guests. Reception are good if you have a problem and are quick to resolve it. Rooms are also of good quality we had 515 overlooking the new pool and the sea. Towels changed on a daily basis, bedding five times in two weeks.shower gel and shampoo supplied. Fridge in room with complementary Water, tea coffee etc. The new pool is fantastic, plenty of sunbeds. you do not have to get up at the crack of dawn to get one as the pool does not open until 10.30 am and closes at 8 pm. The entertainment is ok but obviously with this be a Spanish hotel it is all in Spanish.there is plenty of seating etc,the bar and live music is good. But again being a big hotel you queue at the bar. The hotel is at the very end of the resort and has a very nice beach, you can hire sun bed and umbrella for 6 euro. There ie a few restaurants around the area badgers do a good breakfast. Miranda’s rusty nail etc. Buses run approximately every 20 minutes last bus 11.45 pm (Spanish time) 1.20 euros fare any distance L1 takes you to the pueblo. There is a s
