We are a motorhome travelleres travelling in South America. We spend almost one week in Dantayaco and we were surprised by their generosity and kindness. A nice place (pet friendly) with very nice team. There are many attractions near by to visit such as Fin del Mundo waterfalls and Pepino river among others. Very recommended place to take some rest while travelling, meet nice people, do some nice hikes and enjoy some time. Thank you Carlos and the team, you stay in our hearts. Sami and Jana

What a lovely place! I was enchanted. So unique and special. Everyone there was so helpful and kind. Quiet and so cute! Lots os monkeys and you can hear the river nearby. I was the only tourist there but the staff was super friendly and helpful. Delicious food. It was really unique and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

I stayed there in April 2022 for almost two weeks and had such an amazing time. The hostel is beautiful and so are the rooms. Super clean and most of the time we even had warm water. The rooms get cleaned everyday and the view from the room directly into the jungle is priceless. The stuff is very friendly. They help you with every request you have and try to help in every way. Laundry is possible, easy and cheap. They cook amazingly fresh and delicious and even extra wishes are most of the time possible. Dantanyaco is located next to a road where you can get easily to Mocoa. The area of the hostel is quite big so you don’t really realise that road being in your room. Next to the hostel there are several possibilities for bathing, hiking and Mocoa has a great market for daily shopping and souvenirs 😀 If you go to the south of Colombia I highly recommend to visit Dantayaco ✨🌳👍🏻☀️

I spent almost 3 weeks in Dantayaco in April 2022. This was a great place to base while I was visiting the Putumayo. It's located outside of Mocoa (something good if you are looking for peace and nature) but easily connected via taxi (which the staff will happily call for you). The rooms are just beautiful with a great mix of Jungle lodge-style and all the facilities you may need, especially to highlight the jacuzzi and the terraces that face directly the jungle and the river. It's done in a way you can feel directly in the Jungle, with Monkeys visiting almost every day and hearing the river and jungle noises while you fall asleep. Another thing to Highlight is the amazing staff which will take care of you in a great manner. There is a restaurant with amazing and cheap food, prepared and served by great people. Also is really clean and they will come to clean your room every day. Laundry service is available for a cheap price.

mi experiencia fue inolvidable en medio de la naturaleza del Putumayo. Las habitaciones son cómodas, limpias y bien equipadas, que se ajustan a distintos gustos y presupuestos. El servicio es sobresaliente, con un personal amable. Además, la relación calidad-precio es muy buena, tiene una ubicación privilegiada cerca del Fin del Mundo . Sin duda, un lugar ideal para descansar y conectarse con la naturaleza.
