Saguamby Mindo Lodge

From the moment we arrived, we were treated in such a warm and welcoming way that we immediately felt at home. The staff was so nice and friendly. The food was amazing and cooked from scratch and so so good! We stayed in 3 different rooms and all of them had a very unique touch. They were all warm and cozy specially the one with a fire pit. The staff and the owner were always available in the main lodge to answer any of our questions and make the best recommendations with so much to do. The upstairs restaurant area was so delightful as we watched many incredible species of birds in an open setting with our morning coffee which BTW was superb!! while listening to the river. This resort excels in service and beauty and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a visit to this unbelievable cloud forest.

Hard to imagine a better place to end our trip in Ecuador. Our room was right next to the river, clean, big, beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view was lovely. The staff were excellent. Our Spanish is limited and they were so patient with us. All of them were kind, considerate, helpful and had massive, genuine smiles. A pool table, trampoline and fuzball table offer activities for families. The hotel is located close enough to be able to walk in to Mindo as well as a short walk the the bottom of the Teleférico.
