Had a wonderful time at this Hotel with a couple of reservations around the service levels and entertainment. Overall the service levels were very good, particularly in our first week when the Hotel was relatively quiet. The second week we experienced long delays in delivery of meals, alongside wrong courses delivered. This was by no means the fault of the restaurant staff who were quite valiant in their attempts to maintain service levels. In fact our hearts went out to them at times as they were quite clearly struggling, despite their best efforts, due to significant staff shortages. Rather it appeared to us to be an operational /management issue. The entertainment was, in parts, very good but limited and would have benefitted from more musical entertainment in the lounge areas. Having said all that we managed to have a very good time in what was a lovely setting, with excellent facilities, eating some great food and being well served by some lovely members of staff.
