Toller Service und ein sauberes Hotel.

I don't understand how anyone can be positive about this hotel. The room stinks, staff are unfriendly. Not hospitable at all. You have to pay for your bottle of water in the room. Hotel is very old-fashioned, view bad also the breakfast is bad, not much choice and especially not as a vegetarian. You’re forced to pay for the breakfast

The hotel is quite big, but you wouldn't know by seeing it outside. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff in the reception was very helpful and professional. The breakfast selection was good and enough to start the day off. The best thing about this hotel is that is just a few metres away from the entrance to the Porta Venezia subway station, but overall, the neighbourhood is quiet and safe.

I spent 2 nights in a single room on the last floor facing the backyard. I have asked a quiet room on upper floor, and that was exactly what I got. The room was tiny and a bit old-fashioned, but well arranged. Every single corner was utterly clean. Only negative comment: I would have really appreciated a kettle in the room. Breakfast is fine. The staff is extremely kind and supportive. The hotel is located just out of the metro station, which is very convenient. The city centre (Piazza del Duomo) can be reached also by foot. Probably because of this location, the hotel is a bit expensive for what it provides. Overall recommended, despite not a business hotel.

Having just stayed at the fabulous 3star hotel Petronilla in Bergamo…wow was this a come down. It was more like a Travelodge. The breakfast offer was pretty basic with not even a fruit bowl on offer with bananas or apples. The room was fine but the toiletries were very limited. No hair conditioner or paper hankies and the hairdryer belonged in a museum. The atmosphere in reception was pretty bleak with an older dark haired woman who was brusque to say the least and made a joke out of my name telling me it was harsh and German. (It’s soft Irish Gaelic)
