Myself my husband and our Grandaughter Robyn stayed here this week, we cannot recommend this place highly enough, if we could give it 10 stars we would. This was my first trip away in 3 years following surgeries and chemotherapy and did not disappoint. We had the most fantastic few days, our granddaughter absolutely loved this place and it’s animals as did we, Annette is a lovely kind lady who is so chilled and nothing was too much trouble. Our breakfast was so good my husband was full all day!, it is very accessible to many different areas for trips/days out. The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in away from home, the rooms are very large, immaculate and very comfortable. Peggy & Lilly ( Boxer Dogs) absolutely make the place and are so friendly. But of course it was the Clydesdale & Shire horses (Prince & Woody) who stole Robyn’s heart, she will have such great memories from this trip, Annette was so patient and kind to Robyn ( even though she never stopped talking) that’s Robyn not Annette! We will definitely be back with our dogs, thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. Xxx

It’s a beautiful farm with very kind host, as well as welcoming animals. Spacious and clean rooms, lovely breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and hoped to stay longer. Will definitely revisit some day! Highly recommend!

This was our favorite place we stayed on our recent trip to Scotland. The location is quiet, peaceful and a great break from the busy city. The mini "zoo" on site is great and have us lots of laughs! Excellent breakfast, host is so gracious and accommodating and has a lovely family we enjoyed visiting. Definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

A very special place to stay. The rooms are like suites, they are so spacious. The location is stunning with the views of the Pentland Hills. The grounds are wonderful to walk around and see all the animals. It was the Clydesdales that won my heart though, especially Lizzie. So big yet so friendly and placid. Ailsa and her mum are delightful hosts. The cooked breakfast was perfect. I carried on with a tour right up to the very north of Scotland and everywhere I stayed I told people I got talking to at breakfast about Peggyslea.

Well-equipped, large rooms in new, self-contained building on farm with dogs, horses, alpacas…we were there for a wedding at the nearby New Hall and the location of Peggyslea could not have been better. There is pavement along the road between the driveways of the two sites so it is not only close but safe to walk home in the dark. Perfect!

Amazing place.stayed here twice now. Large room with the most amazing view. On arrival the owner gave a small tour of the Horses and goats. Very accomodating, rural, peaxeful and just a short drive to Local amenities. Great choice of breakfast, i went for the full Scottish which was absolutely spot on Highly recomended
