What a find, just had a few days visiting the Farne Islands stayed a couple of nights at Rock Moor House, one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Comfortable roomy bedroom, lovely large bathroom, beautiful garden. Breakfast and evening meals really delicious. A real gem. Thank you Carolyn for your hospitality. Jennifer Allin.

This was our second visit and on this occasion we stayed 3 nights. Our bedroom was large, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Our breakfasts and evening meals were delicious- all the food is of restaurant quality. All the bread and ice creams were home made. We unfortunately ran out of petrol while we were there and Carolyn very kindly offered to run us to Alnwick instead of us paying for a taxi. In the end she provided us with petrol to get us to the garage. We are looking forward to being able to return.

We stayed overnight. It is a beautiful Georgian house . We had a very comfortable stay . The breakfast was delicious and we received a very warm welcome .Full marks. The house is situated just outside Alnwick , a magnificent and historical part of England. I would wholeheartedly recommend Rock Moore House for a luxury stay

We stayed at Rock Moor House on New Years Eve as we had a wedding locally and had a wonderful stay. They were so flexible with all our timings and we especially loved the delicious breakfast. Carolyn was especially kind in posting an item to me that I had accidentally left behind - she was so communicative and helpful. We would definitely recommend!

Really lovely bed and breakfast. We stayed due to attending a wedding locally so didn't fully utilise facilities during our stay but nonetheless we were impressed with our stay. Room was clean and comfortable (noisy bed only complaint) and the breakfast was wonderful. Vegan diner was very well accommodated for. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose

Beds are comfortable, bathroom was roomy and well equipped. Fluffy towels. Toilet a bit low. Breakfast was very good. Loads of choice including full English, salmon bagel, eggs Benedict and omelette. All freshly cooked. Also loads of fresh fruit, breads, joghurt and so many different cereals and muesli. A lovely guest livingroom.
