We really enjoyed our stay. We weren't sure where to stay in the area, so we waited until we arrived to book a hotel, and the trip app made it so easy and affordable. Would recommend staying here. It was very clean and close to everything.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Blue Chip ******. I came expecting a relaxing getaway, but instead dealt with a dirty room, poor service, and a complete lack of accountability from staff. My room had visible dirt and grime, and when I politely brought it up, I was checked out without warning or refund—left three hours from home with no accommodations and no support. As someone who travels often, I’ve never been treated so poorly for simply voicing a concern. I wasn’t being rude—just asking for a clean room, which should be the bare minimum for a hotel, especially one that markets itself as a luxury resort. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable stay and professional service, this is NOT it. Management needs serious retraining on hospitality, and the facilities clearly need a deep cleaning. Would not recommend.

Our trip was great, really wished they had better on site dining options especially after having a drink, your basically stuck there for any dining options as lakeside is overpriced and infusion is just an overpriced gut truck.

I will NEVER stay here again and I will tell everyone I know how horrible our experience at the Blue Chip Hotel was! #1 this hotel was not user friendly! It was SOOOO FARRRR to walk from the main entrance to the hotel elevators...what a HORRIBLE ORDEAL for my 86 yr old mom...not to mention this 62 yr old to have to walk a marathon with our luggage in tow...no less! #2-the room we stayed in needed to be UPDATED! Dear God! I expected a hotel of the caliber of The Blue Chip to be held to a higher standard. Boy! Was I ever wrong! Our room was deteriorating...the furnishings and fixtures were in need of attention...the shower door leaked, the hair dryer cord wouldn't retract, the door on the front of the refrigerator was loose and ready to come off....and to top it off we had about a third of a roll of toilet paper on the dispenser and NO extra roll to replace it if it ran out! The room was also devoid of a Holy Bible! Or an ink pen or notepad!!! What gives??? Finally...I was sorely disappointed this hotel didn't provide a complimentary breakfast! Geez! Even Motel Six has a Complimentary breakfast! What a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE @!! RHONDA JO OVERMYER

Nothing impressive. Choose this hotel due to location and pool with extended hours (6a-mindnight). NO ONE UNDER 18 is allowed to swim on weekends! Defeated the purpose of booking here with my kids. Beds were uncomfortable.

AVOID THIS PLACE our bed was hard as a rock. Our pillow was hard as rock. When we asked for a luster pillow the lady said they don't have any. She goes to Walmart and buys some because she doesn't like them. The bathroom door we had to push and push and shove to get clothes and make huge noises. Air conditioner was hooled up by a block. Not even a good bar there or restaurant. When I told the front desk of why we were leaving a day early. So I spent money on a second night and I didn't want to stay there so we didn't. She said okay and I said do you want to know why? Like no okay. I told her I'm like okay I go. What are you a robot you can't even say. I'm sorry you didn't like your stay. I didn't ask for anything free. I just wanted an apology. They're horrible there. The people don't care

This combines the review of the two rooms we rented for our family: So this hotel has two sections, a new “tower” section and an old section. If you book through trip .com you will definitely be put in the old section. It’s not bad but not great. The decorating style of the rooms is 1980’s outdated. Every room is a long way from the parking lot. The luggage carts are an even further way from the room. The room is too cold when the AC is blowing, and too hot when it is off. The mini fridge froze everything overnight. The sink did not drain. The bathroom mirror light would not turn on. The bed was comfortable enough and the room was clean - although I prefer newer style hotels that do not have carpet in the room. The light blocking curtains let a lot of light in in the morning. We could hear music through the wall until the wee hours of the morning the first night. The noo-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke the second day after the room deodorizer faded. The TV only has basic cable channels and does not let you hook up a firestick. The Internet is under 5mbps and some times, like after dinner, it slowed down to less than 1mbps. There is a $15 per day “service fee” on top of what trip .com charges that you find out about when you go to check in. The room seemed to be on the larger side for a cheap hotel. The water pressure is outstanding. The location is really good, a short drive to the beach, the zoo and restaurants. The pool area is quite nice with two hot tubs and lots of kids playing. There is free coffee and soda in the far back left corner of the ******. The ****** looked bright and flashy and blinky, but we are not gamblers so we did not check it out except for beverages. All in all, I would stay there again, though I would try to find some way to get in the newer tower section if possible - and Trip .com was a significant discount over every other way to book.

Had a wonderful time in the ****** everyone was very friendly. I will have to book a longer stay next time in town.

I love it here! The rstes are so reasonable i like the self check in rooms r big beds r comfy walk in shower is great. Bottled water in room pool and hot tub r beautiful love having 2 hot tubs! And no kids allowed. Pool lights up so pretty at night. Nice long hours for those facilities. Elevators r plentiful and quick love the food the deli is great very good salads and paninis and muffins. Also they r open late and early. The bar had some great bands and has a margarita machine. Drinks r pricey thats the only thing i can note. There is always vacancy which is nice. U can check out on the tv

Had to call for cleaning service, didn’t know first day, so second night without towel had to call to get some.

Had a very amazing time ! Staff was friendly and helpful and the environment was great. Will be visiting again very soon!

Room was overpriced, I asked for a room on a quiet non smoking floor. The whole place smelled of smoke, all you heard were doors slamming and people yelling outside of our room all night full on argument outside my door for at least 20 mins. The room was very outdated, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, for $260 there was no breakfast included, It was a rip off for the price.
