We enjoyed our stay at this hotel during the last week of the Lemon Festival. Rooms were clean and comfortable, all staff were friendly and cooperative and the meals in the restaurant were varied and of good quality.

I will keep this short and sweet. The smell in the room was vile, there were dead bugs next to the bed, hair and tooth paste from previous guests was sticking to the walls in the bathroom, there was black mold in the bath room etc. I can keep going, but you get the reason why we decided to leave the hotel a.s.a.p. When confronted by this (we took photo's), the lady at the reception told us that they were full for the night and could not get us another room. Since we were NOT going to sleep in that room, we wanted our money back. Now, almost 3 months later, we still haven't heard anything from them yet. Not only are we still waiting for our refund, they have yet to reply to our emails. Again, if you want to enjoy a nice holiday in the Menton area, do NOT book a room at the L'Orangerie.

A very imposing building very close to the beach. Friendly stuff, standard room price value is great. Breakfast is standard, nothing special. Parking for 9 € per day very good. A good place for a reasonable price. Aircon is working well, the beds are comfortable, it’s clean and quiet.

I have stayed in 1000's of motels and hotels from Australia to Zurich. 1 star to 6 stars, and I have never had one these hotels that did not have a fridge, tea and coffee set up key alone an alarm clock! This is the weirdest set up, not even an iron! Yes it sits in a great location yes the rooms are large but why are there no amenities in the room? The facade is run down and the buffet breakfast is cringeworthy- the front of house staff are Very Helpful- the night staff could not care less about your needs. The WIFI is appalling and constantly drops out- I was here for 7 nights and I could hardly conduct business- it is not up to standard for even menial emails. The rest of the hotel is a ghost town, there appears to be minimal staff yet scores of "Gendarmerie" crawling around the buffets and corridors every day. Why is this so?

L’Hôtel L’Orangeraie est un véritable joyau niché au cœur de Menton, à seulement 400 mètres de la plage. Le personnel, de l’accueil à la salle de restauration, au bar et à l’équipe de ménage, a été exceptionnel. Toujours aux petits soins, aimables et souriants, ils ont rendu notre séjour mémorable. Le restaurant a su nous charmer avec ses plats délicieux et son ambiance élégante. Mention spéciale pour leur attention envers Louise, notre petite de 6 ans. Elle se sentait choyée à chaque repas ! En termes de situation, l’hôtel est idéalement situé. À seulement 5 minutes à pied de la plage et de la vieille ville, nous avons pu flâner dans les ruelles pittoresques, visiter la basilique Saint Michel et le cimetière du Vieux Château (dans lequel est enterré Webb Ellis inventeur du rugby), découvrir les boutiques locales, et notamment la Maison Herbin, confiturerie, et son atelier. N’hésitez pas à étendre la balade (25min à pied depuis l’hôtel ) pour découvrir le magnifique jardin botanique du Val Rahmeh. De plus, la gare est à moins de 10 minutes à pied, ce qui nous a permis de rejoindre facilement Monaco et Vintimille en 10 à 15 minutes en TER. Bref, un séjour parfait dans un cadre enchanteur ! Quelques infos en + L’hôtel propose un parking sur place. Pour réserver votre place avant votre séjour, il vous suffit d’appeler la réception quelques semaines avant. Nous avons séjourné dans les chambres 220 et 218, qui offraient une jolie vue sur le parc arboré. Il semblerait que du 4ème étage, vous puissiez également profiter d’une vue sur la mer.)

Hôtel 3 étoiles, Personnel 5 étoiles Cadre très agréable, cuisine variée et de qualité. Chambre confortable et bien équipée. Espaces Salons détente. Séjour très ressourçant, activités variées. Beau projet de rénovation en cours d'exécution
