Situated on 3 acres, Chalet des Herons is nestled in a serene setting that will make you feel one with nature. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, family retreat or adventure filled weekend, our charming cottage is the ideal destination. Water access to lake Memphremagog is just a 5 minute walk from the cottage and the Fitch Bay Marina is ~5km away Groceries, convenience store, gas station and liquor store are 5 minutes away in the town of Fitch Bay. Our property is also well located within the Eastern Townships: - Magog 25 minutes - Ski Mont Orford and Parc National Mont Orford 30 Minutes - US border 15 minutes - Jay Peak 45 minutes - Coaticook 35 minutes The house features 3 bedrooms on the second floor and a bathroom. On the main floor you will find a large open kitchen that is fully stocked, the living room with gas fireplace, dining room, sun room with beautiful views on the forest and a powder room with washer/dryer. Basement features a large family room that doubles as a 4th bedroom with a murphy bed and closed doors, as well as the large game room that includes a pool table, dart board, board games and a large pub style table with seating for 8. House is fully stocked with essential amenities (linens, towels, etc.) and includes in limited quantities garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels and kleenex. Other amenities - Hi speed internet and wifi - Heated pool (seasonal) along with a towel for each guest during their stay - Hot tub (open year around) - Fire pit (usually we have some wood available in the covered structure near the firepit) along with 4 adirondack chairs - Porch with table, full seating for 8, gas BBQ and string lights to enjoy the evenings - Gazebo (seasonal) with table, 4 chairs and string lights to enjoy the evenings - EV level 2 charger in main garage Our cottage is non-smoking, we kindly ask you respect that at all times Using the hot tub - Access hot tub from back door of garage and walk down the steps - Before using the hot tub we ask that you please rinse off in the shower. This is to help maintain clear and clean water for all our guests. Body soap, detergents and sweat will throw off balance of the water. - Towels are provided for hot tub use, and will either be left in the garage on the counter or on the beds. Other things to note: - We have outdoor surveillance cameras for security purposes.
