We had a fabulous weekend here for Valentine’s. Truly memorable and great company throughout. We made new friends during this lovely weekend. Our hosts, Billy and Ben, were exemplary with the perfect level of attention and leaving us to our own devices. Itineraries were provided with useful information about the local area which enhanced the experience. Our food and drink was excellent throughout the weekend and the rooms were comfortable and beautifully presented. Topped off by a special evening we could not have asked for more. Thank you and we would definitely return.

One of the most memorable stays we have had. Valentines weekend special event hosted by Ben and Billie where our expectations were both met and exceeded. Comfortable room, superb food and entertainment and our hosts were extremely attentive and welcoming. Plenty of things to do in the area including a wine tour at a local producer which was a real eye opener into the production of sparkling wine. Can’t recommend La Grande Maison highly enough.

We stayed 2 nights in the Garden Apartment which has a large bedroom with plenty of seating, a new bathroom and small kitchen. The kitchen was great and had a stove, fridge etc. Everything you would need. The chateau is in a very small town but a short drive away there are much larger towns and plenty of places to see - wineries, troglodite caves, to name a few. Excellent location for exploring the area. Ben was a fabulous host and gave plenty of tips on where to visit nearby. Breakfast was good value. The suite itself was also great value and it was such a lovely experience to stay there. Thanks Ben and Billie.

Spent 3 nights in an amazing Chateau The hosts Ben & Billie made us very welcome, providing superb food, accommodation and very helpful local advice on places to visit and restaurants to dine The dinner provided at the Chateau was indeed superb and the breakfast’s really gave us a good start to the day Value for money we would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in the area in quite a unique chateau Thank you

Venu fêter un premier baiser il y a 52 ans ce château est un véritable écrin pour un amour éternel ! Ben et Billie ont restauré cette bâtisse avec beaucoup de goût et de créativité Les papiers peints des chambres est extraordinaire et malheureusement introuvable en France Un séjour qui nous a plongé dans le romantisme du 19e siècle avec des hôtes chaleureux et si accueillants
