My recent booking at Handun Villas resulted in a wasted trip due to a lack of communication. Despite having a confirmed reservation for 16th August , I found out that the property closed for renovations while on my way to the property. There were no notifications about the closure beforehand, and calls to the provided number went unanswered. Property confirmed the closure upon contacting them through Instagram. While renovations are understandable, the complete lack of communication regarding the closure is concerning. As a guest, I should have been informed well in advance, especially considering the travel time involved. Be aware of potential booking issues and confirm the property's status before your visit.

A homely place with excellent care of its guests. Thank you Ajith for taking care of us. Meal time was a treat with excellent wholesome food. Rooms are cosy, linen crisp. Large open to the sky toilets. Beautiful private beach, large pet friendly garden.

We made a reservation for 4 rooms as we had a travel party of 8 adults and 3 kids There was only 1 other family who were there on the same day so we had the entire property pretty much at our disposal. The staff is filled with locals who come there probably based on reservations to help out. They were very friendly and kind. We felt very much at ease as they joined the kids to play and they were not fussing about when the kids were making a mess with muddy slippers You can order your local favorites for meals and the food was very tasty. The kids also got to eat their non-spicy food so we have no complaints about the food. The garden area was huge so there was enough more space to run around, play cricket/ badminton or read a book The pool was small in length but since it was only 2 parties, it was enough for all to enjoy If there was to be a complaint, it was the mosquitos and flies. it was a small hassle to chase flies away as they kept on crowding the lunch table

Among the peaceful nature we left behind our worries and the gentle sounds of leaves rustling and birds singing created a sense of serenity that's hard to find in our busy lives. A big thank you to the Handun Villas team for giving us this unforgettable experience. Our weekend was all about happiness, relaxation, and the simple joy of being in harmony with nature. I can't wait for our next trip to this paradise!
