Our family lake place of 50 years is the perfect home base for your next vacation to the Olympic National Forest. Spend your days kayaking Lake Cushman or hiking the many nearby trails, then return home to a dog-friendly living space, a wood-burning fireplace, and a selection of board games, books and movies for your entertainment. Outside, there's a large deck for socializing and dining. Off-street parking is available for 4-6 vehicles, perfect for getting together with friends. A private community park and boat launch are just a few blocks walking distance and a parking pass is included. Boat launch requires an additional fee per day of use however not required for kayaks that can be carried to the beach. The cabin was built in 1970 and still retains many of the charming decorative details of that time period. We love having a lived-in space to relax with our family and friends and we hope you do as well. Accessibility: This is a 2-story home with the main sleeping areas and full bathroom located on the upper level. Stairs must be used to enter the home from either the front or back door. The community park is located down a short hill from the home, but you can use the provided parking pass to drive down if you would prefer not to walk. We have an additional single room apartment with full bath and kitchen attached to a large gazebo next door as expansion option. Ask about the Gazebo apartment. and it is only rented with the house as an upgrade. Advertised rates are for the main house only, please inquire for extra bed option. Wireless Internet access and online TV included. Pets are allowed with some restrictions so that you don't have to leave Fido at home.
