We got no real sense of how big or small RSM is...we rang the hotel when we reached somewhere near the centre of Martina Franca. They drove out to meet us, and guided us to a parking spot just outside the Centro Storico (which is completely pedestrianised). We then followed them and our luggage for 5 minutes through a maze of streets until we reached our room. I hasten to add, all of this was explained to us before we arrived! The individual rooms are scattered over several buildings, so I have no idea where (or even if!) there is an actual hotel building, or whether this is a 'virtual' hotel. All we ever saw was our room - which was very nice and homely (in a slightly 'kitsch' way), and less than a minute away from the main drag. Staff took our breakfast order each day, and it was delivered to our door each morning. We were offered plenty of choice (including gorgeous fresh croissants with pistacchio or chocolate cream), and the quantities were definitely generous (to the extent that on the first morning we weren't sure whether the food they delivered was meant to last us all 3 days - it wasn't!). The room included a fridge, and a coffee machine, with a plentiful supply of coffee pods.

Questi due ragazzi gestori di questa struttura ci hanno coccolato fin dall'inizio, aiutandoci nel parcheggio e con i bagagli. La stanza è pulitissima e fornita di tutti i comfort possibili. Situata in un vicolo del centro storico, assolutamente silenziosa, si trova a qualche centinaio di metri dalle più importanti attrazioni turistiche di Martina Franca. Un altro punto di forza è la colazione che ti servono in camera, compresa di tutto quello che si può desiderare, dolce, salato e frutta secondo le richieste degli ospiti. Acqua e frigobar compresi nel prezzo e prosecco di benvenuto in bella vista nel secchiello del ghiaccio.Ma la cosa che ci ha più colpito è la grande disponibilità dei gestori e la loro empatia. Cosa che non è assolutamente scontata in questo tipo di attività.
